Conclusion
Without copper, the electrification of the global transportation system and the decarbonization of energy cannot happen.

Will there be enough copper for future electrification needs, globally? And remember, in addition to electrification, copper will still be required for all the standard uses, including copper wiring used in construction and telecommunications, copper piping, and copper needed for the core components of airplanes, trains, cars, trucks and boats.

The short answer is no, not without a massive acceleration of copper production, and exploration, worldwide.

Unlike the previous super-cycle, which depended on China, the next structural bull market will be driven by spending on green energy, for which copper is a key ingredient.

To avoid ecological catastrophe, we must reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, clean up our environment, embrace renewable energies, and continue down the path of electrifying the global transportation system.

Bottom line? We need to find a lot more copper.

It seems CUSN is not on UK investors' radar yet. The moves in both tin and copper prices will make it easier and easier to fund the re-opening of South Crofty and potential development at United Downs. The danger for current shareholders is that a mining major may bid for CUSN, before the full extent and net present value of UD, SC and resources under 30,000acres are fully appreciated and discounted in the share price.

The main thing is though DR seems to have confirmed the typo. Relief all round!

One wonder if it is a typo and Q4 2022should read Q4 2021, but taken at face value it appears there is a six-nine month delay, the cost of a DMG unit has risen to £26m and assuming operations 7/7 it appears inputs are around 30 tonnes whilst outputs are still around 2 tonnes of H2 per day. One wonders why........ Perhaps Tim Yeo could do an active investor interview?
PHE's finances will be squeezed the longer it takes to get this up and running, and PHE's stake may be reduced.

Cornish Metals is likely to emerge from the shadows as publicity re the drilling/exploration and developments at South Crofty enter the news. At the moment as a £25m market cap company it is well under the radar of the institutions. So PI's have a great opportunity if they are prepared to do the homework and get up to speed.

A really good find and up to the minute post CK. I particularly liked the bit in the written report:-
"At nearby South Crofty, also owned by the same company, he explained that there is likely around £100m a year worth of tin to be mined. "
From the PEA we know the plan for S Crofty is an inital mining life of 8 years.
The £24m market cap is looking far too low. Consider the sensitivity analysis on page 181 of the PEA....

The after tax net present value (NPV) moves from $130.5m with a tin price of $10 per lb to $188.1m at a tin price of $11/lb. On my calculations the tin price last week was around $12.7/lb suggesting a much higher after tax NPV.
IMO it is just a matter of time before that happens.

Trouble is $13/lb is off the scale given!
As moving from $10/lb to $11/lb gives rise to a $57.6m increase in NPV, I guess a further $2 rise is worth around $100m So around $288m NPV............................ Clearly this is not priced into the share price......................
