agreed gkp was the biggest con going.... that last dilution wiped out some many small PI's just so the few, could reap massive rewards from the many... never again !!!

flipsome, very valid point actually... if the BoD were in advanced talks (which WOULD be sp affecting news) and as Tarquin do elegantly put it in his eventual reply to me - quote - "if there had been any material change, the company would be obliged to update the market accordingly....

hence no rns, no update, no nothing, other than request to control more share issues...

however, with this request for a share issue (if needed) then I would hope/assume, that a "market update" is imminent

finally, WayneS, no not given up, they were statements, no moans, I will let you know directly, as and when I decide to give up... in the meantime, have you applied for a place at the GM on 24th?

IF is a big little, word? So what if the BoD drop a couple more RNS's between now and 24th stating who JV is, 401 is going commercial etc etc... what price the sp, when the request to double shares actually happens...

could have been done deliberately, knowing traders don't hold over weekend and if an rns drops on Monday with info... then it will allow genuine LTH's to benefit and show the BoD is trying to be fair to them and stuff traders, shorters etc

Yes wild speculation, but, would you pay £5 per share now, or pay, 1-10p and then watch your holding grow expedentially, when word leaks out who you are ?

A billion shares bough iin at pennies become a quid or more, is far better than 459 mil, at say 5-10 quid ?

Re your queries/questions, regarding a material change of circumstance, at Valirx... If there had been, any change, the company would be obliged by market rules, to upate accordingly by RNS... Meaning as I see it, they must be in negotiations, as stated, or they have lied???

The company announces relevant activity to the market, as appropriate.... Meaning to me, they did not meet with Align... (imo)

It does not respond to unsourced rumour and anonymous commentary... Meaning the statement from Align, we are now comfortable, means it is all they could say, because the only thing they acquired was those who emailed in saying they owned a Mil or more shares ? (Again in my opinion) they know very little as we do and are probably over exposed (my opinion nothing more!

There fore they are simply proceeding ahead with said trials / negotiations etc and BEFORE the money runs out, to ensure no last minute desperate egm.s they are asking up front for support and most probably will drop a taster to or more, to ensure support between now and the 24th?

FWIIW I will be attending said meeting and will now not be so harsh on PR and BoD until, they show me different?

The science says blockbuster compounds, the finance could have been done better, however, how many of you (who runs businesses) have left it to the wire to raise funds for cap ex or new plant or expansion and then taken the easiest route...?

I say this is their last chance to come up with enough info, to take this to Commercial... I also say if you can attend GM, then do so, because there is weight in numbers and it is always better to look in the eye of the speaker than to get a Chinese whispers version of what they want you to believe!
