Gordon Eocene starts at 1800m . Look at the chart. New wells will need to go this far. It's on the SYN website. Obviously will pick up other gases along the way . But you said Eocene is what they want

So 50-90m drilling is not really an option.

Unless they have there target zone chart wrong.

Gordon then we are not just concentrating on Eocene zone. some of those well are not deep enough to enter the Eocene zone. So what are they going for.

Only the up and coming workovers Gordon.. Drilling can wait.. lol

I did not mention new wells in any of my posts , I stated they will need to go deeper on the workovers. Please look at my long post from yesterday.

I don't understand why you think I am being negative by pointing out that they dont need to look for the gas in different places or depths. No need to overcomplicate the issue.

Im on about the work overs Gordon . Not working of the same pad as c-77h.

So my answer to you Gordon is this is where i got my drill deeper information from. All ther to inwardly digest. I don't intend to catch you out i just have lots of time on my hands to research at the moment.

C64 and 74 is Miocene depth 550-1400 m

c 72 is oligocene 1400-1800 m

c 70 looks to be Miocene also .

The other are 1800 m and deeper .

The two horizontal wells drilled by Synergia (C-76H and C-77H) proved that these types of wells can be drilled to total depth efficiently. The challenge for the company is gas production rates per well.

These were worked over by Syn/Oilex.

The first well within our was drilled in 1958 with outdated tools. Syn/Selan will revisit some of these wells and drill with modern tooling .

Look into the history and give some positive Feedback.

Gordon . follow this link and the colour chart it shows you current depths of existing wells. look at what depth the Eocene is at its about 1800-3000m Looks to me like they need to go deeper. I'll let you cross reference our targeted wells with this chart. It might take you a while.

GW how long have you been in Syn. (don't look at your watch. lol) . Have you looked at all the historic wells and data . We now have a partner that can get the job done. And hopefully quite quick on the workovers. ! result before christmas would be a nice Brucey Bonus.

There is so much research to look at , so much gas in the ground . previous drills only drilled a very small depth. We are going deep.
