I really don`t think the potential impact of this deal has sunk in yet .
People are focused on the BAGO operation , selling Gas and getting a bit of oil production going .
I`m not downplaying that in anyway , it`s crucially important , foundational and will i believe re-establish the whole viability of the business .
The surge over the last few days I think is in the most part associated with that , because it`s tangible and near term in completion .
The Schlumberger deal is just not visible yet and while none of us know the full detail , most people are probably not even aware of the enormous potential and the impact it is likely to have on little ol` Block .
Block , and it`s current shareholders just happen to be in the right Company , which is in the right place at the right time . That bit is just pure luck , which doesn`t happen very often in this game !
This deal is definitely not priced in by Mr Market and not yet appreciated by investors .
2021 will be transformational and possibly absolutely huge ! ~ imo .

I would not be surprised to see some `Adjustment` to the share cap base as contracts are extended and / or concluded .
It may be that corporate negotiations have been ongoing in parallel with outstanding news about contracts , which might be the reason we have had virtually no real news for about 4 or 5 months .
I dont know , but we will all find out soon enough now !

As a one time investor in 88e I still get notifications from the Company .
I used to be a fervent believer in the potential for 88e , I enjoyed the interaction and postings of many similarly enthused investors . Selling up at a significant loss was painful in the extreme compounded by the fact that I had to admit to myself that I had made a huge error of judgement . Over the last year I have managed to claw back a reasonable amount of lost capital and i am more comfortable to find that there is life and opportunity beyond DW`s adventure .
I have had time to reflect on the possible future opportunity for 88e . I have to say that the acquisition of XCD where DW was a major shareholder raised more than an eyebrow and after this latest round of repetitive spike and raise I am now even more comfortable with my decision to sell up .
Without the problem associated with deramping one`s own investment I could now list quite a litany of negatives but I`m not here to gloat or criticise , just passing through to say hello to those who have maintained their support for the business . It IS still possible that one day DW`s team will hit the Motherload and you will all start to reap the rewards and I really do hope it works out for everyone .
When I checked in I noted this comment :

I don`t know , looking back it may true , but it seems very obvious that there are some very shrewd operators on this thread who have likely been trading the guts out of this for years while offering some rather disingenuous information about the business .
Anyway I wish all investors here the best of luck this time round , I`m just glad I don`t have the pressure of a large financial investment that would seem to be binary choice again .

I thought today proved to be an excellent endorsement of BLOE .
Yes some profit taking , absolutely expected , but a very small retrace which is healthy as we move forward and as MP mentioned ~ HUGE volumes ! More gains short term I think .
I hope there is no CR at this level , but it certainly will not be the end of the world if there is . All these fledgling Companies require capital input to get them started but I hope that the BoD have learned a few salutary lessons from their errors a year ago .
Whatever happens , i`m betting this proves to be a fantastic investment as we move through 2021 .

fwiw ~ I believe this is exactly the correct strategy here : After you`ve done your research , made your decision , buy and hold for the long view . Of course there are going to be ups and downs along the way and always be prepared to cut and run IF there is some dramatic change in events or fortune . I suppose this is `Old Fashion Investing` and is not really in vogue with today`s short term get rich quick online trading , but i believe this is the most reliable way to grow your capital .
I have no idea how Billingham / Aires / Deeside / Greece etc will turn out but there is much going for this little outfit so as well as the potential , the environmental need and solutions , there is certainly the excitement built in here because anything `Could` happen !
Like yourself , I just keep buying a little more when I can ;)

My intended `Top Up` funds for EQT got redirected to BLOE today , so I`m sort of hoping we don`t shoot up on news until 23rd which gives me some time to get that EQT `Top Up `in place :)
Pure selfishness , but very confident that this little business will be transformational as we move through Q1 next year .

You`re right , this is a very different animal when compared with the usual AIM rubbish .

Absolutely right !
In fact there could be several permutations of completion by or around or just after 22nd .
For example they could say that the deal has been completed in part , or or that specific elements have been agreed .
However I do believe they will at least make a statement on progress and that after all this time it is unlikely to be of a negative nature .
I would prefer to see this cleared up asap , but I`m not really that bothered , because this company has a long way to grow before I would consider selling any shares .
I`ll be buying a few more next week because at this price it is cheap , it is certainly not likely to be available in the months to come and of course the Billingham deal might just be completed which will send the shares rocketing . imo !

This could be progressed in advance of the ink drying on final contract signing provided the essential elements have been agreed which would enable EQT to hit the road running on 22nd .

Frustrating yes , embarrassing , I don`t think so .
This is a very serious business negotiation , these things can be very complicated on so many levels , especially where serious money is involved .
Fwiw ~ Wither the deal is completed by 22nd or not , it is almost certain that they will provide a more detailed update about how negotiations are developing . I remain confident that in due course there will be some positivity arising from discussions .
So :
Frustrating , because we all want news about a successful outcome and wish to see our investment increase .
Embarrassing , only IF the deal flounders .
