Dust settled ?3 Dec 2020 23:47
I didn`t wake up at 3.00am this morning , and I haven`t had time to follow the hysteria on here today .
What a bunch of snowflakes . Infantile posts and in some cases people exposing their complete lack of knowledge not just about this Company but about investing , the markets , the risks and opportunities .
You would forgive novice investors , but some of these posts have been in the names of those who would have us believe they have a degree of expertise in these matters . Obviously not .
I thought we had got past the stage of critical abuse of the BoD . What is the point of denigrating the actions of the Directors of the Company in which you are invested ? If you feel disillusioned or disappointed with their actions or strategy just sell up , walk away and find a more appealing prospect . Very disingenuous to inflict your miserable rhetoric on shareholders who retain faith in the business . What is the purpose ? Do you want others to sell to reinforce your feeble analysis ?
Please , if you are dissatisfied and have sold your shares then just be dignified and quietly leave the discussion .
If you are hesitant and need advice there is a polite way in which you can ask for information , I know there are people here that have considerable knowledge and would be willing to help .
As is usual when these events occur , I notice that two or three of the less than honourable characters on these threads also made their unwelcome guest appearance with their predictable negativity based on no factual evidence .
In amongst the dust , the dirt and the flying fur , I hope that the more cautious and nervous investors (which is perfectly understandable ) found time to consider the quality posts from those clearly recognised on the thread who provide an accurate ongoing factual commentary . Unfortunately today , some of their messages may have been drowned out in the hysterical hand wringing , moronic death wishes . You may not be wholly familiar with the machinations of the market , but surely it`s clear enough to identify quality contribution amongst all the stupidity .
Anyway , I suspect the dust has probably started to settle . I hope we don`t have another snowstorm any time soon .
Listen to the commentary from those on here with obvious experience and knowledge of the O& G industry , their generous input is invaluable , ignore snowflakes , the storm is / has passed .
With a little imagination it`s clear to see that the game here has really just started . People seem to have completely lost sight of the enormous significance of the Schlumberger deal , but now the business has the funding in place to exploit and accelerate this opportunity . So much news to come and , imo , those who stay the course will be handsomely rewarded and again just in my opinion this little dip in the sp is likely to be short lived and probably forgotten altogether by the end of Q1 .
VGL to All Genuine Investors .
