True , I `think` DW picked the preferred partner , I also `think` he must feel some considerable pressure to close out the deal with a positive outcome .

Hey ! As far as I am aware this isn't something new .
Common knowledge regarding 88`s business and operational position long before any F/O .
What we don't know and , the Farmee + 88 do , is the true potential Commercial value of the 88 conventional .
From houses to cars etc , nobody wants to pay full price for anything these days .
Surely this is the reason we have the third party managing our detailed interests in negotiations .

For real substantial value to be realized by 88e it could take years . I don't think we have the finance or the in-house people skills to take the whole project forward . Surely this was never the original intention .I supported `prove up and sell on` and while I know many things have changed over the years , I just don't think we can continue to hobble along with continued CR`s hoping to hit the Motherload . As mentioned I think this is , and should be a watershed for 88e .
If we even have a bit of a `Damp SquiB`, I think a lot will move on . There are other 88`s out there , and PI`s want to see some return on their capital for the real risks associated with AIM .
Hope that doesn't`t sound as if I'm joining some group of disaffected deserters , perhaps also just trying to be a bit more realistic .
Still hugely positive about the outcome in the next few weeks .

DW should , I hope , have been thinking aggressively about the implications and consequences for 88e .
if , this hits the buffers , it will seriously damage DW`s reputation , among a number of other unpleasant negativities .

Negativity in the air today , or is it just nervousness .
This is undoubtedly a watershed moment for 88e and probably for a large number of investors who will probably give up if this F/O fails to materialize .
I wonder if DW had required our preferred to provide some form of down payment / non returnable deposit should they fail proceed . Surely only sound business management as this lengthy negotiation will have proved costly to 88E , as they will no doubt have to start all over again with the next `Preferred Partner` .
Alternatively they could just put the lot on Ebay ;)

I hope that people have not been spooked into selling over the last couple of weeks because they have seen the sp drift down daily from c. 13p to 11.3p .
This should have been expected as the financial industry churned through some 110,000,000 shares that were issued to raise the 12M GBP . The final tranche will hit the market on 5th June , Wednesday , but they will probably all have been sold by now , the II`s will have taken their margin at various levels up to 15% . Easy money for them for two weeks gambling !
r or just priore to the Meeting next week , there will certainly be a statement but finance and highly likely to be news updating the market about current and planned activities Afte.
Monday might be the last chance to buy at this sort of price level . I expect this time next week we will or certainly should be well above the 13p replacing price .

Groover , My 120p quip was just an imaginative / pie in the sky hope (At least short term) , however I do think 20p is a very realistic target short term .
There are only some 320 Million shares in issue , I doubt there will be any need to consolidate in the short term .
Should you hold , I think you will be very well rewarded ; If you're thinking of buying 13p `ish is probably a very sound base price .
I'm no Oil Industry professional , just my opinion . However , if you scroll around this BB you will get some first class information from some very well researched and knowledgable `Oily Experts` .

Kat , I also noticed that the 88Cardiogram gave another little twitch at the bell .
We definitely have a pulse , so I fully expect the patient to sit up in June , stand up in July , walk in August and run like hell in September !
I'm just hoping it will be strong enough to keep on running like the wind for the rest of the year :)
