30 yrs ago , a policeman in Monaco almost arrested me for walking off beach without a shirt on ! Loved the place , stayed at a really cool hostel jist out of town , so many chicks !

Sil I have lived in NZ for 11 years so out of touch. However I just loved Avignon, arles , Dordogne area and SW coast for surf. I always joke that what I miss most about uk is it's closest to France! One day I will take kids on a Europe tour

Thoth , don't bother going to Nice , it is so over rated. Crap beach, loads of oil in the sea and town is crap. As a youngster travelling around all that part of France I thought it was over rated. Especially st Tropez
