Whilst I understand Magic-orb’s concern that things are years away, these things do take time, but it is also clear that the Government and Petronas want home produced gas, as much and as quickly as possible. They’re importing LNG from Australia - that stuff ain’t cheap. Its one of the factors behind us having the highest electricity prices in the world.

I held shares in this company many years ago, and have just spotted its recent meteoric rise. I know gold has gone up a lot, but I wondered whether there had been a share consolidation here which had contributed?

The borrowing limit in 98b is 3 x the adjusted capital and reserves. So I am assuming that the revised accounts are marking these down by a material amount - not that they’ve uncovered significant undisclosed borrowing.

To be fair to Ice they have previously implied that the adjustments won’t be particularly significant. They lied.

I agree with Magic-orb, I think we’re rising because the market is just starting to wake up to just how big Temaris is. So, hopefully more to come in the run up to the presentation, and after.

I saw Oiltdr’s comment about a placing. His suggestion would still imply 10% dilution. I could buy it if it funds a producing asset acquisition, and they need to go snap right now. Otherwise, surely it makes sense to wait for Temaris farm out and Kertang drill date.

Seascape have followed a careful clever considered strategy for the last 18 months. I sincerely hope they are NOT going to farm in to an exploration well In Uruguay, whatever its prospects may be.

Could be Temaris seismic reprocessing. Although that woukd be remarkably quick.

No chance this will drop to 25-20, unless the deal falls through. At 30p, shorts are well in profit, but if they can rinse and extra penny or two they will. And hedge funds will arbitrage for a penny or two quick return also. I think it will hit 28-29 as soon as it relists, and stick there. I’ll probably hold for the 30p - its an extra grand.

Early 2024 was indeed a challenging time for Longboat, which inspired angry denunciations from more shareholders than just Paul. The turn around has been decisive, and exceptionally rapid though. As far as RKH goes, I too flirted in those long ago days of Desire and parrots. But RKH has ten times the number of shares that SEA does. Who’ll get to £2 first? Almost certainly SEA I’d say, given the respective market caps that would represent.

Does make me wonder if it’s the Wood Board delaying finalising the accounts in the hope of getting this over the line. It makes Wood’s longer term prospects if they reject the Sidara offer look a lot stronger.

I do think 30p is insulting. But where have Sidara ever said they want the accounts to be waived so shareholders vote on the offer without seeing them? Sure, Sidara, the Board, and the institutions who effectively own the Company don’t care about us PIs seeing them. But that’s because we are irrelevant, not because the finalised accounts are. Given the deadline of this Thursday, I expect they’re already circulating.

Must admit I hadn’t fully grasped quite how big Temaris is. I could see they were very excited when they announced it - now I’m seeing exactly why. They’re building the sort of resource base most Aim O&G CEOs would sell their grannies for.

If anyone seriously thinks FCA is a muscular, respected regulator that’s going to take down Wood Group, or provide a basis for Sidara to push through a lower bid successfully. I urge you to open their website, and scroll through their press releases. Its all there - transparent, as Icecool would say. And p155 yourself laffing at the petty rubbish make-work the overpaid public servants there are winning at, to justify their ridiculous salaries, and even more ridiculous pensions. The real scam is the toothless FCA.

Looks like we’re having this stolen from us, with zero impact on the war with Ukraine. Well done UK Government, no wonder the London Stock Exchange is on the skids.
