Afraid it vindicates Sham’s assertions that if Sidara walk, current shareholders will get very heavily diluted. And this is why institutions will accept the offer, and why there will be no white knights.

Sidara have not walked away. The longer they don’t the more it looks like they want to go for it. No idea what’t they’ll offer. Nowhere near what some here seem to think, but still, this is now the price it was before Sidara’s bid was known, so its hot to be north of here. Good luck everyone who is in.

I don’t think short term volatility in energy prices would stop an acquisition that they’ve been working on for months. It’s for the long term. And if China make some concessions on tariffs, which they have been gaming, things might settle.

You’re certainly not ramping Icecool. Deramping I’d say. £3 a share bid from Sidara? What a surrender monkey - it’s going to be at least £30 a share. That’s what the Board are holding out for, so I heard from a parrot in a pub.

“Knowingly or recklessly providing false, misleading, or deceptive information to an auditor is a criminal offence under section 501 of the Companies Act 2006, potentially leading to imprisonment or fines.” This is pretty serious ordure. Now if you were Sidara, and you’d built a bit if a stake through proxies, would you do the honourable thing and say you were not going to bid, or would you keep up the pretence that you were still negotiating while quietly dumping your holding? Still very high risk here.

Sidara should want to see the restated accounts, so would ask for another extension. If they don’t just walk after that shocker - much worse than expected. If they do bid though, it will be very low ball now. And they won’t want to keep any of the Board - which could lead them to reject the offer. It’s much riskier now than it seemed on Friday.

There is of course an opportunity cost in having funds tied up in a stock, when they could be making a return elsewhere. Always the risk of making a loss though, and short term traders really need to be tied to their computers.

Still very much under the radar it seems as step by step thru build the company and derisk it.

Speaking as a Chartered Management Accountant I can tell you that there is a hierarchy of accountancy qualifications. Arvind was representing himself as absolutely top tier in this respect. His real description shows he’s several rungs down the ladder. Ot’s the sort of thing that top tier accountants, like say Deloittes senior auditors, get quite sniffy about.

I agree with Captain Swag. The news on Friday was bad. Bad enough for a 20% drop I think - which should have taken it down to around 50p. The massive dump by Fidelity cratered the price while they offloaded - it should rise back up to 50 - that’s my target anyway. Oh, and it was the third bit of bad news from the company. Its only a rule of thumb - but good enough for an old boomer like me.

They are out now. Be interesting to see if that removes the selling pressure tomorrow. If it does, we could be in for a rip roaring rise.
