Let’s hope news (when it finally does arrive) is good.

I know what you mean but weirdly I am not. If you had asked this question 4 or 5 weeks ago, I would have agreed with you wholeheartedly. Now however, and as more and more time goes by, the more I become certain that something positive is afoot.

I suspect that you and Mads will not agree but think about it....

If there is nothing being discussed with another party or parties then why the delay in announcing funding which must be needed to progress the BAM drilling. I mean don’t forget that whilst (I agree with Mads here) LND would seem to have moved slowly over the years, the BAM gold side of things has been progressing quite quickly. I am absolutely certain they would continue in that vein if they were not looking to sell or JV.

If there was something being discussed with others and it had fallen through then you can bet that BH et al would have moved quickly to get things progressing again independently.

Could drilling have started without an announcement using what is left of previous years funding. Unlikely I feel as money would surely would not last long enough to see out 2019 campaign. Also historically drilling campaign details are usually provided by RNS.

So silence. Pull out of pro-active investors forum. No news about funding or drilling. Any major problem that could have hit LND would have had to be reported so nothing there.

So what does that leave Dirkus.......You can’t blame me for feeling the way I do; though wrong I may be.

Like RD I fully understand your concerns based on LND history but was v interested to read your last.

I honestly think that an approach has been made based on my previous reasoning. Whilst I cannot explain our million seller I think that the selling pattern began before a possible suitor could have decided that they were not interested in whatever LND were offering.

The time frame now has made me more and more convinced that there are talks. The longer the Radio Blackout (if, indeed, there is one) the more I am thinking a buyout rather than JV which RP hinted at very strongly. If I am right, then the time frame would not be at all unusual. The amount of material for solicitor s to wade through and then agree would be massive. Remember it’s not just what we have but the (real, not imaginary) potential of the property.

If I am wrong and the seller is getting out only to come in again lower then why would it take so long to (as Dirkus points out) rethink the strategy around funding for further independent exploration work to get on towards1400 plus. Also the fact that they pulled out of the investors forum still intrigues me.

I hope I am right but this is driving me mad Mads (sorry!)

Cube recommendations listed but no indication yet as to when work will start or how such work will be funded:

Infill drilling within and below January 2019 Pit Design enable confidence in grade continuity along strike, convert Inferred to Indicated within December 2018 pit optimisations;

Infill drilling and Step out drilling to target strike extensions of the main BAM hosted gold mineralisation – enable potential upgrades of Inferred to Indicated, and potential conversion of Unclassified material to Mineral Resources;

Highly prospective IP Anomaly targets have been identified by LND previously in 2004 and related to FW massive to disseminated sulphides zones within the main BAM Au mineralised units. In addition there are 3 to 4 WNW trending anomalies that are possible targets for exploration drilling (northern anomalies), and step-out drilling along strike from the BAM sequence;

Testing of shallow down plunge extent of NW trending high grade zones by deep drilling (from 200m to 300m depths below surface; and

Regional Prospectivity – other gold mineralisation targets along the 31km strike length of the Junior Lake Shear (Lamaune) and historic discovery at Toronto Lake.

Same here. First bought into LND in 2010 prior to the 21p / 22p heady days ( sometimes I doubt myself about those figures but true enough as you know). As such, I am also sat on paper loss as no doubt are many others.

I accept that I may be reading too much into things but I have watched that last iv with Proactives Andrew Scott a number of times and the way RP answers a question about funding and JV,s towards the end makes me think that it was way more than a throw away comment. It showed him leaning heavily towards a JV and that there were interested parties.

Now I accept this has been alluded to by LND historically ( and nothing has come of that) and I also accept that a buyout was not alluded to but my reason for thinking what I do is the fact that we are nearly into the second week of April with no mention of fund raising or drilling campaign to firm up to 1.4 mil au and/or conduct further drilling to extend BAM. As such, this could mean talks with a potential partner. Or maybe someone has decided to look into the potential of buying LND.

1. They have the Nickel.
2. Gold resource almost certainly 1.4 million ounces at this stage.
3. Last years 5 drill holes around 1 km from (what was ) BAM East hit gold.
4. Other anomalies identified previously along 31 km Greenstone Belt have been drilled with gold present.
5. Other similar anomalies on belt identified but not drilled.
6. RP (on behalf of co) states understanding is that they are on a multi million ounce au resource.
7. Mining friendly durisdiction and 98% recovery with milling rather than heapleach thus negating potential concerns around grades (1g to 1.5 g on average I think)
8. Various permissions in place etc.
9. Other metals.

As for the share price I agree totally with what you say and would appear to negate all the above.

Time as they say, will tell.

Hope that time arrives soon and surprises us all.

RNS's for drill plans and funding for 2017 and 2018 had been released in February and early to mid March of those years...……..

As such, we are overdue.

Seriously all the research I am doing indicates that majors and mid tier companies in Canada, South America, and Australia are looking to broaden their portfolios after the gold bear market. Seems that takeovers, mergers and joint ventures are happening as companies look to the future realising that explorative work has been somewhat neglected.

I know that people say that majors are only interested in 10 million plus (Au) but as such significant finds become scarcer then such policies will adapt to the change. LND has over 1 million confirmed and MORE besides. The question is how much but the potential (some hate that word) so I will say REAL potential based on what is known has got to be very very good. 31 kms of largely unexplored Greenstone Belt with blue sky drilling showing positive for gold.

I think that talks must be taking place.
