How to define an event is the question. I would argue that a campaign to find and prove up a resource is to push the definition of event beyond the definers intention.

As such, I will say good luck to all longs here with their INVESTMENTS.

Mads think your reply realistic rather than neg and I also share your concerns. Thanks also for clarity re Directors position. I didn’t know that.

Dirkus you may well be right. Hopefully so. It would be also be good to see interest develop in this; LND is clearly right off the radar at the mo. Hopefully the last few months hasn’t slowed things down too much and drilling gets going ASAP.

The points of interest from the RNS for me are these:

1. LND to continue to grow the resource and carry out wider exploration programme on other known gold prospects.

Comment. I think that ‘blue sky’ drilling is as important as proving up the extended case. If we continue to strike gold (Mads I note your comments re grade but will balance that against proven recovery rate and growth of resource over and above that required for the extended case) then well before we are in a position to start adding those additional finds to resource estimate, the Potential case will have been strengthened further and Majors will have to sit up. I note that £110,000 has been earmarked for exploration purposes including 500 m drilling . The intention is also to use other techniques to define further targets along strike from BAM.

2. Will continue to evaluate all options to max shareholder value in the BAM including possible JV opportunities.

Comment. We all agree that some kind of talks have been ongoing. I think the above suggests that although nothing has been agreed at this stage, there is still a relationship with a party (or parties) and the situation with BAM is under constant review or even negotiations.

I agree with everything you say. I have listened to that last interview with RP again today and am convinced that at that time LND were in talks about a JV. Like most if not all of us, I took the view that the period of radio silence indicated a possible buyout rather than JV. I am disappointed also because I was also hoping to monetise my investment.

I have also had more time to reflect and am much more positive. Just shows how timing of an RNS can work. If my instant reaction was of ‘we are doomed’ than that would have been the same of many others. The fact that we have the weekend to weigh things up will hopefully prevent a further drop on Monday.

Like you Dirkus, I noted that directors had put further money into the company which I take as a very positive sign, LND had worked up the BAM in a relatively short period of time in mining and exploration terms and had gone further than just updated jorc with metallurgy and PEA. This, I feel, confirms my feelings about a potential JV at that time or more. We know Barrick were speaking to LND a couple of years ago; perhaps such conversations are an ongoing thing. I note Barrick was referred to in the RNS with a couple of other companies. I suspect more than one party are keeping tabs on LND’s progress as alluded to by RP.

So, as said, the BAM has moved quickly. I am hoping they have the rig or rigs ready to get turning ASAP as we have already lost a fair portion of the year. Does anyone know if they have their own team or is it outsourced. If it’s the latter, could there be problems with drills having been booked by other companies?

All that said, I am reassured. I consider that the company ARE considering their shareholders and will not let it go for peanuts. As I have said all along, this is a 31 km belt with a number of anomalies similar to BAM. Some have been drilled and gold found. As such, this has potential with a capital P. It’s not just wishful thinking. This has to be much more than a 1 million or 1.4 million ounce resource; this could be a proper multi million find. RP certainly believes that. Then there is the other metals.

The matter of a JV is alluded to again in the RNS along with ensuring the best for shareholders. That’s why I still think things are in the balance.

Yeah with you but I still think somethings afoot. Maybe more potential JV ish than buyout and looks like LND have to prove up the extended case first. This would account for the silence and delay in commencing funding and drilling.

I think it’s simply explained. Protracted negotiations. Failure to agree terms agreeable to both parties. LND will carry on as before.

Hopefully will come good at some point.

The whole thing puzzles me. I understand why negotiators insist on confidentiality clauses but what I don’t get is the fact that on the face of things LND are not doing anything, I know that clearly will NOT be the case but without drilling and other exploratory work OR at least the reporting of such work, then surely other parties will start to discuss this and come to their own conclusions. I mean the whole mining world in North America will not be signed up to an agreement. As such, the longer this goes on the more interest it will cause unless of course there are only 5 or 6 of us in the whole world who have any interest.

My humour (attempt) is well meant. I am invested here and have been for a long time so of course I support LND.

There is no doubt that things don’t add up. The difficulty is dealing with facts rather than conjecture. I have had a look back over the years to see what is factually different this year. The answers are a gold resource jorc of a million ounces near as makes no odds, a metallurgy report and PEA; the last two from 2018 funding. Then there has been the drop out from the Investors Forum, no funding raising, no mention of drilling (other than a mention on last page of latest LND corporate presentation,) and no early drill assays which we appear to have always had by the end of May.

As you say, we are due the AR; the last two of which have always been last week of May.

Conclusions then. One might say it’s obvious. But then you consider your key point and the (my) argument weakens.

Problem is this. If it’s not a JV or sale then what else can it be bearing in mind RP’s last v positive interview.

As I have said before I am very surprised that the situation is not causing more interest or debate on this (or the other) channel. What the hell IS going on.

Let’s hope for news this week Mads.

Also Mads, I was initially convinced that it was a JV being discussed as I have posted a few times. I now have doubts as news is taking so long.

Wish the RNS would appear and clear things up.

All noted but would your first point not depend upon when discussions actually commenced. If they only started properly after the PEA was digested fully (sorry!) then perhaps 2 months give or take may not actually be unusual?
This is a question not a statement as I have only limited knowledge of such things.
