RE: Why's the share showing a 1,988% increase?25 Aug 2020 19:32
Evening Brother Urban,
I note your question and the associated unsolicited testimonial penned by Nice2 which I appreciated on one hand however suspected a touch of irony with the other lol.
In all honesty, I have no firm knowledge of what the future holds, and so I reply using only open source material, previous history, and as a VFLTH of Landore who frequently lapses into boredom resulting in a desire to play the game of Second Guess the Future. So here goes.
Firstly I take it you are aware that drilling is not the first priority? Groundwork’s and geo stuff is the starter for ten. I understand that LND were on the ground pretty much immediately after the placing was ratified on 13th July 2020. To work out timeframes, I have looked at last years campaign....
12th June 2019. Drilling and ground works (soil sampling etc) commenced.
4th September 2019. Initial drill assays released. (Other results followed later)
21st October 2019. Informed that soil sampling was complete and assays awaited.
9th December 2019. Soil sampling results released. These were excellent and covered 7km between BAM and Lamaune (Felix Lake area). The RNS started that Felix required additional infill lines of soil sampling pre-drilling.
Last years soil sampling covered a huge area and took approximately 6 months from commencement to published results. I do not believe the area to be covered around Felix during the current campaign is anything like the size so let’s say half that to be on the safe side. If we therefore suggest 3 months rather than 6 with a start date of circa 13th July 2020, we could be looking at soil sampling results around mid-October 2020.
I also understand that LND are looking to start drilling in Autumn. This would seem to tie in nicely with the above bearing in mind that they wanted the additional Felix infill data prior to drilling.
Last years drilling campaign resulted in initial published results just less than 3 months after the start date. If that is mirrored this time, and I expect it will be, we could expect drilling to start after soil sampling assays in mid-October and therefore should get first assays in early to mid-January. The thing to bear in mind, however, is that it is LND’s intention to drill in 3 distinct ways namely infill in and around BAM, 2 deep drills at BAM and exploration drilling (which relates to the additional infill soil sampling at Felix). The thing is that the first two drill types are not dependant on the soil assays and so could commence earlier. Another poser is that we do not know how many drill rigs are at their disposal but an educated guess would be one with two at the most.
In conclusion therefore, and at a push, I would conclude as follows:
