The twin well was the first well on the lease to test the formations so they took a cautious approach. They also needed to install storage tanks etc. The second well is a twin well twin so I expect them to get it connected up a bit sooner.

Fjones.....I view it like this. Egypt currently has no value so may or may not add something in the future. Currently the back bone of the company is the stripper well operation at Pine mills. The field is 100% owned and operated by the company through its Texas operating company. The production is reliable has a very low decline rate and at current oil prices is very profitable.The wells being drilled on the new acreage have the potential to move production in to a different league. Drilling is fast and therefore cheap but the returns far exceeds a stripper well. There is relatively low risk with the target formations as they are proofed in the area. Potential does however exist in other formations.

Possibly, or it might just be that we are waiting for hard production data to verify who has the correct opinion.

Unlike the past I expect more of a slow burn here. If they can keep drilling wells from free cash flow with low decline rates then they are on a winner.

The notched collar will if all goes to plan cut it's own thread as it screws on to the top of the tubing. After that we just have to hope it holds the tubing does not break lower down and the rig has enough power to pull it free.
