Consolidation is just a big con job. I lost 63 shares in the consolidation process. These 20 are actually 2000 under the old money and some of those will be mine robbed from the company rounding down figures when they should be rounding up.

Centamin recently became the target of a takeover bid. Canada's Endeavour Mining at the start of December made an all-share merger proposal that values Centamin at GBP1.47 billion, giving Centamin shareholders 47% of the combined firm.
Shares in issue are 1.156Bn therefore my calculator makes that 127.1p per share.

Yes if you look at last RNS HSBC reduced a long position. HSBC were buying shares on the spike though and will overall be hoping for today's rise.

Hi VCB, this is a bit swings and roundabouts. Endeavour is actually doing a favour by putting in an offer which is still above current M.Value. By hedging the CEY price they are protecting their offer. CEY still has to convince otherwize. Today's news is a step forward.

Now please don't forget CFDs are complex trading systems. At every moment they calculate the buy and sell and work out the best direction for the price. By just buying the stock which the CFDs are derived from, the stock price rises with the market due to the demand.

Recently wrote to the Kefi info email and they didn't reply I suppose they are v.busy. My platform hasn't notified me of any offer of subscription shares. Does anyone know if there is a holding threshold you have to have to apply for the discount subscription shares, or are Kefi just plonking them on AIM on the 10th?

combined short positions are negligible. Looking through RNS most are holding stock and have purchased at above market price. There might be temporary shorting with traders in the past couple of days but I don't subscribe to any strategic shorting here.

Kefi up 20% - little bit more in the tank to come.

Anyone read the RNS reagarding principle trader Bank of Nova Scotia. Either they got caught out with all those CFDs or they set them up on 31st. This is taking an uptick again could be the Bank of NS buying back.

As I understand after the Jan meeting there will be most probably be 1.3bn shares in circulation, ignoring any warrants. If everyone hangs onto their nugget then SP will tick up quick. For many it will be too tempting to sell early.
