Maf, there could be more buys and the price could still fall. It depends where those buys are within the spread. If sellers arn't hanging on and getting good value that is when it becomes a bit like a waterfall.

NMC loosers like me do though have the opportunity to study the AIM market and make a few quid. Remember the beauty of AIM is that you buy shares without capital gains so if you loose a packet at least you know the tax man hasn't gained also from your bad luck.

Yep strange repeated £70.08K sells. Also PIs shouldn't believe when they buy and sell that it is going to get reported on the book. If you sell through a broker they might hang on to those shares for a while and then sell them at a higher price.

Designated market makers income is from providing the liquidity for the stock. They make their money from the spread and commission. They don't have anything to do with the short selling CFDs. Institutions happy to loan stock for leverage for shorting do so to protect their stock so they do not have to sell. Market Makers used to have the perk of being able to short stock(sell it although they do not own it, and have not even borrowed it from another broker) I am not sure that is the case now though. Anyone know an MM? Point is punters short an instrument as they believe they can make a few, or banks might political short a stock, or in the case of AQ they are relying on MW report.

Well no, as previously mentioned I would not be happy if KPMG were auditing. Ernst & Young LLP signed of 2018 and they were paid hundreds of thousands of dollars. And I never understand how auditors don't comment when there is a short attack of this kind.

Some of this is psychological trading. I would say also that some shorts came off Friday. On my scanner no one is buying and support could go to well below £11.50 but those shorts would have stayed on if they could see a £1 or £2 drop.
