I am sure you all know this, but there is no lockdown at the moment in Ethiopia. Only 5 deaths attributed at the minute. Harry looks tired. Think he is milking Covid a little but as shareholders are being persecuted I think Kefi should take a bigger chunk of the profit due to ANS being flakey. Good question if ANS could end up in court for not putting up.

Even if Gold does break that $2000 resistance area, Kefi will just be starting to have unearthed ancient donkey poo. Gold will be tumbling down the other side of the mountain while Kefi are left wondering if the the poo is worth flogging on EBAY. Hopefully the averages will mean the whole thing was worth it and senior execs can go back to their happy and lavish home comforts pondering how they got away with it all.

I would say the ANS money is not likely to appear. However due to the economic climate; cheap oil, high price of gold, I would say that the financing of the project genuinely will close October as Kefi might have been given a nod by the Ethiopian govt that they will put up any shortfall prior to Autumn. Also we the shareholders can veto the 2nd placing. It would be interesting to know if there is a group lobbying for shareholders to veto the 2nd placing at the 28th May meeting. Also what kind of thresholds of share ownership it is worth registering to vote?

Apologies we are awaiting $9.5m from ANS, it is complicated but the last RNS does state 'KEFI's planned 45% beneficial interest (being 80% of KEFI Minerals Ethiopia which is planned to own 56% of TKGM)'.
Beginning to look like some of us don't have the capacity to keep up with the funding for this project. Think I'll quietly make a cuppa and watch the council lawnmower. :(

Well my thinking is that if ANS Mining S.C are serious about hanging on to 33% of the TK project they need to hand over their $38m. I find it confusing that KEFI Kefi Website states that KEFI owns 95% of the TK project, when the reality is that the Ethiopian Govt has already put around $20m. You have to give it to KEFI they did say they would look to other sources if ANS wasn't going to deliver. However much cash do you really need to scratch away at an open-pit?

Like a yo yo. Going in the right direction though. Gold is holding up. Government is looking for £130bn emergency health financing and budgetary support from the World Bank. Hope this doesn't delay any funding for TK.
