Dislicker, thats what happens if you dont take up the Rights by subscribing the additional 85p per shares. They are called Rights IE they are your rights allocated to you and if you dont subscribe then sombody else will buy them, pay you the 60 odd p each and subsribe the additional 85p as they believe that the price will go above and beyond 1.45 (85 +60p).
Invariably, after the Rights are subscribed for, the overall price post Rights come down due to averaging. Hope this makes sense (you probably got 65p per Rights, so £2600 represents around 4000 Rights sold on your behalf)
The current shares have now settled but overall you are ahead by £600
