Anyone that has invested in shares for a number of years like myself will be utter devastated so it is a huge thing to see lifetime investments going down the drain . Maybe if your in your thirties and likely to have some sort of inheritance then its not so bad but in your fifties and sixties then this is bad news in more ways than one.
Personally I was there in 87 and recovered, but for me this is quite different. One for completely different world events and the other of not having the years to rebuild after this

I think we are all in the same boat whatever our holding are. NONE OF US want to see the share price fall any further and now more than ever i would love a dividend, but for the sake of waiting a little longer I could deal with it if the share could hold up. I don't know what the answer is , but I would gladly take a dividend if it preserved the share price and vice versa.

At the end of the day if western governments do not address the glut in oil and gas then what will things look like in six months time ???

id rather they didn't pay a dividend and conserve cash until this passes. In the worst case scenario we will at least break even this year. Then hopefully when gas prices pick up next year together with the economy we would be well positioned positioned with 120 million in the bank to acquire some further bargains. My view is that at this level our market cap is underpinned provided we retain as much cash as possible. Maybe they could offer a bigger dividend next year once covid is out of the way

Does anyone know if our gas sales are sold directly to the u.k. so surley there must be some sort of contractual agreements in place to protect both parties. I would hate to think that the Saudis are selling to uk power statons

The company have continually stressed that bkr supplies 5per cent of gas. National interest to keep it going. So hopefully HMRC's and o and g authority will come up with something to guarantee a price level. Otherwise they might as well cut production to the bear minimum

They trying to drive as many producers as possible out of business. My view is that the u.s will not forgive or let this go once covid has been bought under control.jt looks shale production will fall now without producers agreeing some kind of cut. Mainly due them going out of business. Not sure where will stand with gas on this though. Maybe we will end up with a fixed price to sell to the government
