The p.r marketing will be handled by the distributor in China. As posted earlier they have invested heavily in this part. not Omega.

We should see further orders of food tech shortly . As the company indicated that once Chinese clearance for home use of food tech was obtained these would follow. My understanding is that the distributor was ready to roll out this out once clearance was obtained. The distributor has also invested heavily in a sales and management team . So it is in their interests to roll this out as quickly as possible.

Maybe someone could clarify this. Im sure nxc may have a view on this.
When did Richard Sneller save Omega from bankruptcy. This is a listed company with still ample room to issue shares. The placing before the last was only open to a small number of investors. I questioned this at the time as no clear criteria was given apart from some wealthy holders intimating at the presentation held at balls brothers that they would be interested. At that time I held a holding above 1 per cent of shares and was buying stock in the open market at 13 14p taking my holding just before the placing approaching 1.5 per cent. The placing price was at 10 p.
So obviously not very happy at the time.
My point is that this company was not going bankrupt. It also had a overdraft facility

There is of course a way to play them at their own games. Push the share higher by buying. They would have to pay more. None of them are left to sell stock to drive it down. So buyers should win.

Merchantbanker. There will be no opposition now to a takeover in my view. The only holders owning above 3 percent are the board and a ex director. There used to to be half a dozen lth holding amounts ranging between .5 and 1,5 percent. I fell and still do fall in between that, but cannot account for the others. so even with that collective there would be little opposition.

i dont think it really matters anymore, the poc test will be administered with the vaccine roll out inmv. It may become more relevant when a possible vaccine is embedded 12 to 18 months away. Then that way individuals could test themselves regularly for antibodies inmo

I may be wrong but at least the next time we get a tri rns it will be for a increased holding as opposed to a reduction one. As no one is currently above 3 percent. So at least that would be a possitive.

The way i see vaccines and tests going is as follows.
When vaccines are rolled out lft will be used on a regular basis by anyone who has not been vaccinated as it will be unclear for some time that a vaccinated person cannot pass on the virus to some degree. Poc antibody testing will be carried out regularly for vaccinated people to see the presence of antibodies. My understanding is that even though you are vaccinated you have symptoms. So if you are regularly vaccinated would you want to feel constantly ill. The biggest concern is that if you are constantly vaccinated is to what extent the long term effects will be to your organs by carrying the antibodies and then having booster jabs.

I would be interested in peoples views.

The positive now is that we know vaccines are arriving. So it just depends on which ones will pass phase 3 and gain clearance. There is also how many will ultimately be used . Either on their own or as a combination. So with that in mind i would imagine that some sort of antibody test is a must. Hopefully the ukrtc 19 test will be right up there with the rest.

Maybe Abingdon could be part of future plans. That still makes sense to me . Omega could really expand quite quickly if cash flow increases as envisaged.
