My view is that abingdon are floating for a reason and it's not to give a return to vulture capitalists.
Inmv they want to create a large diagnostics company and with the cash on hand what better to add to that than omega. They will not only add products but a skilled workforce from the bod down to the shop floor.
It will interesting to see which institutions will be holding a block of the shares after flotation
I bet some past omega ones will be there in some form. Maybe even david Evan's new fund will be amongst them . All guess work of course,but with all large holders selling out of omega it doesnt board well in my view for omegas independence

Channel 4 this evening gave a good overview of how other countries are approaching using a vaccine. The general consensus from the countries who have handled covid more successfully was that they would not be mass vaccinating.

I think the broker valuation has been pretty accurate so far. Our market cap seems about right. Now that we are producing covid tests. A nice large order for food tech and cd4 would fully support the share price with hopefully an uplift.
Worse case scenario inmv is that the only covid related test we produce will be the ukrtc test. This in the long term is a better result long term inmo as it has already been intimated that it will support a vaccine. Much better as omega can just focus on the one test. Also as a plus the faster a vaccine the better for all kinds of reasons

I personally feel the presentations are excellent with the company informing and answering all shareholders questions which are put forward.However I think what needs to change is that there needs to be follow up rns announcements which can be released as non urgent rns,s. The largest shareholders are now private investors so their approach inmv now needs to be slightly different whereas before they only really needed to keep the institutions on board. This would also save them time in terms of answering shareholder queries inmv

you have summed it up. The Board must now be as tired as most lth. So it must surely be the time to sell the company. No one can dispute that they have done a grand job, either that or just invest the cash pile into something like bp and return any profit to shareholders

the market cap is 100 million. Something for people to think about is that there is no reason as to why cd4200 could not be used in the western hemisphere for home use. Anyone that has a permiscuses lifestyle could check their cd4 count before going to the field hospital and docs in good old u.k.

joking apart . if they are to return some share holder value then hopefully its a decent return. For me I originally invested at the kambumba times. So saw this rise to 40p then fall back to 4p. Held all the way and added, but overall the returns are not that wonderfull for me after 10 years of holding.
