Tardis show us where this is confirmed. Plus I am not talking about BKM , which is one of the smallest disoveries on KSK, but about the others prospects on our concession.
...... The next major regulatory milestone required for the commencement of project development is receipt of the Pinjam Pakai or “borrow and use” permit from the Government of Indonesia Forestry Department. Work is now underway to secure a number of the sub-permits required to fulfil the requirements of the Pinjam Pakai.... ARS news dated 17th July

This is an interesting development. Do we yet have the crucial "borrow & use" permit from the forestry dept? We may have scraped thru with BKM but what about the rest of KSK?
Kalimantan is endowned with tremendous mineral wealth . A great part hidden in the forestry area. How are they going to
resist the pressure of the mining industry and who will be given access?
This is why it is absolutely vital for Asiamet to go the extra mile regarding CSR policies if he want a chance to get one day
access to the great mineral resources that we know is buried in our concession area.
BTW this was anticipated right from the outset of exploration activities. Mansur always stipulated " no access no mine"
and so imho we have to constantly remind ourselves that been granted to dig the earth it is a privilege not a right.
Good luck all

My bet is for Palenkaraya in Central Kal. No surprises. Already President Sukarno after Indonesia became independent wanted to set up the country new capital there.
The hornbill was not choosen at random I recon.
In the Dayak culture it represent courage . One other of its qualities are that
Hornbills are dependable seed dispersers. Everyday they eat large amounts of forest fruits. Hornbills can also fly over vast areas. If one hornbill can scatter one seed a day, imagine how many seeds it can disperse in one year! This is why hornbills are regarded as true farmers of the forest. They are able to scatter seeds and help natural forest regeneration. Without hornbills, the forest would not be able to grow and flourish.
The hornbill is our logo. This bird represent my personal view how I see our Company albeit for the fruit of the earth instead of the forest.
I posted here many times before that Asiamet needs to have in place truly far reaching CSR directives. NOW ! I have never ever underestimated KSK potential. A boom will bring us wealth but can also have dire consequences for the people of the region. If the shareholders have the commitment will not only those devastating consequences be avoided but our Company can stimulate economic growth and bring prosperity over the land.
Is it really a wonder why Asiamet has yet to take flight?
I have no misconception about Bruce . In my personal opinion he is not a person who has Asiamet first interest at heart.
Lots of people investing for the wrong reason that is why. They put a bet and hope their horse will win them a fortune.
Sorry to disappoint you with that answer. On the face of it they think their horse is in the race but it keeps been scratched time and time again. But don't you worry , patience. When the time comes we will all know it. Not only we will have a winner we will have also a whole stable of champions.
Good luck with all your investments
Why be concerned with trade war and China. The Authorities have set aside 300,000 hectares of land in Central kalimantan and Indonesia is about to build itself a new Capital . Right on our doorsteps and they will need a lot of copper and other metals.
This new Capital will herald a new age for Indonesia and Asiamet will be right there piggyback on this nation building.
However for this to happen we will need to be willing to play a positive supporting role. Then As the City and the Country grow so will we .
As O.Hegarty said many years ago regarding " KSK " ...watch this space!
reaction as a well connected new member join the board along a few nice words from Tony pushes the share price up.
On the other hand when I think at how low the price of the last placement was makes me wonder to whom are we really
offering a seat at the table. Shareholders should demand and deserve a board member who will always be motivated to
look out for the Company's best interests.
I posted here over the years how I found Tony to be a very well qualified miner but not a convincing one. That is
where he lack that X factor. He is not a O.Hegarty I dared mentioned. Be what it may he is the head of the company and I am OK with that and thus it never surprises me to see the share price doing the yoyo.
Just about everyone comment how the MC is a joke. The market never lies some believe. The joke is that the market is blind so it follow who ever leads , it be the bears or the bulls. Then I see Tony . I see someone who knows his stuff. I see someone who believe in the potential of the assets under his management. He is someone who is convinced that this is a billion dollars company and the market reaction to his efforts must frustrate him no end.
With the correct approach I personally will never ever contradict him on that score.
Nothing has changed. ARS remain elusive for those who were hoping for a change of fortune post BFS. For the rest of us nothing surprising really.
For those who are disappointed I say Look up further down the road. I never fail to see the rainbow . Watch carefully all the interviews.
Nothing has changed. I see the directors doing their best even if I question things sometimes. There are certainly bumps on the road. Inevitable. BUT ONE THING IS MANIFEST: UNSHAKABLE CONFIDENCE THAT THERE IS MUCH MORE OUT THERE . That is probably complicates their decision making.
I completely share their belief. We have seen nothing yet!
DT (and others) think about it this way:
If you own a house and all things be equal and your are not selling it does not matter one bit if the real estate market goes thru a correction phase. You will not be feeling sorry when price go north again.
Same here as I believe THE CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR IS PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND ME RETAINING OWNERSHIP !
With passing time our house may find itself to be located in the middle of town ;=)
I agree with you nothing wrong with the interview and you agree with me..patience is needed.
So why is Tony so stressed? Everyone would agree and Tony the first one that the BFS is one of the cause. He mentioned it himself in the interview he got some flack over the delay.
Tony has great responsibilities and knowing his limits will help him manage them with better efficiency.
Nothing wrong with that advice.
Anyway it was never intended to be any kind of malicious comments as the interview was conducted in his office as his EC capacity. My apologies if I offended.
As explained on the video it was Tony who approached Asipac . As they were not interested the first time I find it not so surprising that the placement was at such low price.
I would not go as far as saying "desperate times desperate measure" but for me it could have some of its flavour .
Again, when choosing a strategic partner you better have all your wits sharpened.
Thanks for the video. For me very interesting, not from what Tony said (nothing we did not know already) but his physical appearance.
Tony looks very tired and his wish for things to be done and over with is weighting heavily on his chest. I would say that Tony has too much on his plate at the moment with all the other hats he carry and this not ideal condition to be in when you have to make strategic important decisions.
Not knowing this BTW notice how it was pointed up on posts last week when asking if Tony had reached his capacity limits and thus possibly affecting his good judgement.
Tony take a break please for everyone sake.
One more time for the ones who missed my point.
Forget about BKM. The plan has always been to make BKM the first cab of the rank! Then to go on after the larger targets that are on the concession. If the pioneer were right about BKM were they wrong about the rest???
Up to you to reflect.
When we are in production who is to guaranty that the same does not happen to Asiamet?
Do we have an iron clad social licence?
No one gets that unless they are exemplary in their conduct and have far reaching social programs.
It is essential for anyone these days if they want to operate in a developing country that they have in place programs that will advance the regions the operate. The days a mining Co can just come in , extract the resources and keep all the profit are gone. Even if they pay their taxes. Who knows what happen to taxes in those parts?
This is why I said here many times , trying to help shareholders opening to the idea that the worth of this business venture can be much greater than its market value. Wising up imho to get used to the idea that wanting to help (generosity) is not a dirty word but part of doing business. So when large institution are making deals with mgt it is of concern. We all know why they invest and what they demand in return with the result very often stifling progressive social initiatives.
You will all think I am unhinged but I truly believe that the more we are willing to share the bigger the paydirt will be.
I let it to your imagination the potential when you consider the number of prospects we have on our concession ;=)
Are there still some investors who do not realise that BKM is only the first cab of the rank?
Probably those that are eager to sell, take a profit and run somewhere else.
And then there are those whose gut feeling telling them something else. Telling them that this is no ordinary venture.
It tells them to be patient with their Asiamet investment because this time patience will pay off as long as everyone
stay on the straight and narrow. This is our chance to prove that a good ordinary guy can win.
