This is in their hands and they can now recruit and do relatively quickly which will steady the ship. The forensic will take a few weeks, outside of the auditors I assume as they are involved. We don't actually know the reason for the trouble which might not be good. However if they have a new cfo, steady the ship and announce it might not be too bad. Plus in the scheme of things, doubt many customers have paid interest this week with the elections taking place

Which I assume brought the sp drop. Now long term holders are stuck due to sp drop, however there is a divi policy that's started. Assume business as usual for the company, front facing bar the accounts. But no suspension, no fraud announced as yet, no criminal connection. They will restate accounts, so already taken this view and some buying based on price and potential? So will the accounts bring the company down? I don't think so and we will see solid results this year.

Each to their own. I believe the business is sound, good customer service, products and price will maintain customers unless this became a scandal and they would need to move. If they can restate, do this calmly over shortish time then return to relative normal practice. We don't know yet what the accounting issue is which seems strange to have spand several previous years, accumulating in a extra hit now. So the overall loss is within the companies capability of control of it stays at this, whether a person intentionally or bod have chosen to miss lead is also something we will need to understand and as stated also comes under the watch of the paid auditor. This years results are on track, companies, government are outsourcing IT for cost and security reasons. This is why bod are paid money, to manage times like this!!

Worse case? Hold the stock 12 months, they demonstrate this years numbers are untouched, they can grow and generate cash to resolve the change in numbers? In that period maybe back to £1.20 and I would triple my money. Happy to wait also, I was watching this stock and when tesco get done for 20,000 customers, companies like this will take on more and more, non core businesses work. They don't want the risks in house

If the ceo knew about this issue over the 5 months of selling his shares then he will be found in serious trouble and sacking your CFo certainly wouldn't stop the truth coming out. The assumption could be its come out in the audit for half year results. It could be its a bad as stated and they generate enough cash and business to cover. I agree whole heartily a pure gamble on a low sp at the minute based on the fact we don't know enough.

This year is to plan and accounts from previous years thAt are being challenged all got signed off by the auditor which shows the challenge. They have clarified most aspects already and CFo whether directly involved or not has gone.

Bear in mind the good practice and methods of work shown until this point. They have expanded as a business, they have met all financial commitments but obviously done something wrong. Any indication of fraud would be mentioned I think. They have overstated somewhere but this years numbers have been confirmed as OK. A profit clear of nearly £9 million, EBITDA I think around £24 million. I would expect another update this week, they will wish to update and move on asap

i guess we don't know actual what has taken place. the whole point of audits is to do exactly as they have. if this doesn't impact cash flow and they can cover their debts whilst customers will ask it should be ok to explain and move on. don't get me wrong, if mal practice is found and announced this could get worse, they have highlighted what they think the impact to be, has the CFO gone simply because he shouldn't of allowed this to happen? next few days will be interesting, would expect another rns quite soon if not so bad to try and stabilise the ship. qute some drop today and I assume none of the big investors or company shareholders have sold.

i have bought in at 44.89 so well down on the quoted price as I think its still falling but less so. the current market conditions are good, if they can recover the panic as a BOD and sort this out quickly it should be fine. if people start suggesting its deeper then bigger problems. I note that they are quick to state current year and conditions are as per they stated. bounce back this afternoon, maybe 20%??

All supportive for the future, might be one of several with the group in the future. I think the new format, design of Brussels on the easyhotel web pages looks great, budget but with quality improving, plus high margins still! New price tag of £1.35 also announced

The new Brussels hotel looks pretty good and now open. With Manchester and Liverpool not far behind we should start seeing better numbers through 2017 and especially into 2018. No reason are divi policy won't continue to grow and then another 5 hotels will get announced soon using the recent money raised. Rev par continue to grow, BREXIT leading to stay at home and tourists from abroad due to sterling should see good progress in the next 2 years. Easily see £1.50 to £2 coming. GLA

New openings being posted, revenue up against Brexit with rev par also improving. It's going to be a good two to three years for easy hotel as new hotels also come on line. Quite defensive I also think against stock market jitters and movements in the next few months. If we get recession then in the end the fight to the bottom will hopefully see easy hotel in good stead

In export terms haven't we gained being in pounds? The gin and vodka are made in uk. With redleg not sure as I thought it came from the Caribbean and therefore would cost. The reference to home grown ingredience is also positive. Overall not sure however, think this has cost us overall
