(Reuters) - The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) plans a nationwide study of up to 325,000 people to track how the new coronavirus is spreading across the country into next year and beyond, a CDC spokeswoman and researchers conducting the effort told Reuters.

The CDC study, expected to launch in June or July, will test samples from blood donors in 25 metropolitan areas for antibodies created when the immune system fights the coronavirus, said Dr. Michael Busch, director of the nonprofit Vitalant Research Institute.

Some working for the US government are saying it's a question of when rather than if a second wave comes. The WHO state don't celebrate a reduction in cases use this as a time period to prepare for harder times in the next few months. A vaccine well I don't think anyone really can confirm as yet how long and how successful. So whilst this all sounds terrible there are ways to manage and control the virus alongside looking after the vulnerable and old so that they are protected more so.

I'm pretty happy to wait it out a few weeks for any type of update that shows the poc has worked and Elisa in action. This virus is very very very unlikely to go anywhere for sometime.

Just shows to me the money and importance around the antibody test and how this is propelling many companies. Odx have Elisa test with mologic that we await phe validation. Shows how valuable this is to start, costs a lot to use and I think they are already being used whether in U.K. Or abroad.

Obviously the poc test then becomes amazing in value and availability compared to lab and hence to another level. They are trying to make a lab test for use at home!

Yes there was comment the order was false however this followed that the plant was shutdown, no one working etc which is obviously not the case.
Order is progressed Chris I think implied two or three of these this year would see them through, now furlough until September Chris will keep more off the books in uk and get the government to pay whilst in Kosovo operationally they work

The POC will where ever corona is do well, Odx challenge will be making enough for demand and I already suspect the Elisa is being sold. Sp weighed down by debt in the business passed across by pru. Not seen as a long term problem bar divi payment and will take several years to bring down.

Yield will drop back to 5 or 6% as its cut reflecting sp and getting debt down which no different to what we are seeing everywhere. So actually taking the divi and reinvested at this sp wouldn’t the that bad but don’t expect 10% yield pretty much anywhere
