RE: MARKETING RED FLAGS24 Jan 2022 10:49
Cuvio, there was plenty of advertising in national press, on radio and by pay per click for face masks. Try trusted PPE (very memorable name) on multiple radio channels continually, still are. I have seen national press adverts and many lesser masks advertised by pay per click.
If you have a new concept you need to tell the target market about it especially if it's at a premium price point, you need to advertise, explain USP and how to buy. You don't need in house marketeers to do this you just need to do it.
I appreciate people don't like to wear masks as you rightly point out but for months it was mandatory, but as always P2F missed this boat because Duffin was (a) "building a team" (b) didn't have the gumption to do a "test" to see if it works (im not saying spend all the money just test then repeat if it works).
Its is basic stuff.
