I have worked in a supplier capacity with SIG for nearly 6 years, in that time the culprits of the company’s demise were booted out - David Hope - the then MD - North SIG Distribution was binned off. He then turns up in the re-build......staggering! I have invested in this share purely on the monumental drop in March and not on the back of the Steve’s (lest be honest) rather McKinseyesk chat about where the business was and where it is going. They have a branch network in the UK that is a legacy problem and he is dressing that up as being local and close to customers.....I am afraid when this returns to 55p /60p I will be running for the hills with the profit as I said I am in quite big and have a 28.6p average. I did not take up the capital raise either......THE FUNDAMENTALS ARE - they are still a big, overhead heavy lump, and it will take a minimum of 5 years to improve it.....
