Emmmm. There is no excuse for the large market share SIG sit over to not deliver a strong profit. It is down to very poor previous management and the business on autopilot. I still do not think there has been enough change and good calibre people brought back. Phil Johns left the business and got roasted by Dave at MKM......

Half the current £330m market cap was raised 4 weeks ago, so on the back of that decline, this business is only worth £150m......a joke.

Classic - The new management open the door to a new floor of 25p for a major chunk of the business. Then they convince joe bloggs to buy in at 30p as that is a great opportunity........no it’s not and I’m just over a week it has proved as much. Francis will be out the door soon enough and CD&R will Finance the business through debt and rinse the remaining shareholders for all they are worth.....Yep Raleigh your on the wrong side of this deal......sad faces all round.........!

There’s your 30p right there. Francis has taken the finance raise too soon. The share will now be pegged back for a long long time. All we have done is support the Francis argument that the CD&R deal was a good one. I’m afraid that is just nonsense as the bulk of the cash was raised from existing shareholders. BTW - it is a fallacy if you think a shorter is holding this back, it’s not it is a lack of a solid plan and no confidence yet in the turnaround plan. PE will squeeze Francis’s out as soon as the shares slip below 30p. After all what can Francis tell IKO about the construction sector - sweet bugger all....! He is the wrong man at the wrong time. He has also just picked up £375K for protecting the sub 25p share position from CD&R - though the contingent raise. Where are the growth numbers Steve.....?
