http://www.hoodlessbrennan.com/CMS_FileCache/HOODLE004_274_1.pdf I don't know whether this link has been posted here before or not, but as an impartial piece of research its quite a useful one to follow to look at this company. Hope that its of use.
PWR - strong buying yesterday afternoon, and again today. Sp up well today (10% so far). No RNS out or other info that I've seen - any ideas?

The year has started well with double-digit like for like turnover growth in the first two months. Our market is currently buoyant and we expect this to continue."
Isn't this just Fidelity continuing to reduce their holdings? They've been cutting back for a long while I believe, and last sold on 21 Feb. Presumably they've had enough.
Having hedged around this share for a while, this could now be time for a speculative buy. 1 - Director dealing is an added mark of confidence - cf Storm's msg, 2 - the ship should be leaving to start the recovery soon; the RNS confirming this will see a rise in sp, 3 - the sp got to 34p just on confirmation of the location of the wreck, 4 - the valuations were all done in Sep 05 - commodity prices have risen substantially since then, making prospective gains higher. Very speculative share, but I'm in now. Chan?
.. and loving the current sp. This has done nicely for us - approx 50% gain over my holding period. On the grounds of letting your profits run, I'm glad that I didn't sell earlier. Have you any thoughts as to whether this rise will continue, or begin to peter out? I'll look out for a sell note from you. See you over on SUB?
No problem for info. I tend to stick to stocks sub £1 (unless they rise above it ;-)) , so am unlikely to venture into SCTN, but thanks for tip. PS Don't forget that 'N' or you'll end up with ropey Screen Technology shares !
Trader Talk in Standard last night: "With the World Cup on the way, Artemis has topped up its stake in Powerleague, a company that operates 5-a-side football centres. It has increased its holding by 700,000 shares to 7.9M, or 9.7% of the £60 million company. Citywire A-rated fund manager John Dodd holds 6.9million of the shares in his Artemis UK Smaller Companies fund. Powerleague recently announced that it is trading well and continues to build its estate of 5-a-side centres." Must be a buy then.
Cynic - don't be too self-deprecating. You've clearly got a lot of experience, a level head, and a refusal to get carried away with euphoria. You post cogent views, generally with a sense of humour, and don't take yourself too seriously, unlike some others. I value your thoughts, but clearly, make all decisions myself. And if I happen to miss huge pieces of info from an RNS, thats why I frequently ask for the assistance of others before making any buys... So. Anyway. Cheers
Good to have your views. I thought that owning the mine completely, and verging on largescale gold production would have put them in a stronger position, but I'll look into the cash flow aspect, but interesting that you're not currently convinced. Thanks - I'll watch for a bit
Thanks for assistance. I happen to think that this is a company well worth looking at. Its just seen a fall off in sp (I think over contractor difficulties, which it has dealt with well) so it is looking a far fairer price at the moment. Note also that their calculations are all based on a gold price of $325. I know you're well aware of the current price, ($545?) and EUM are due to revalue their expectations accordingly higher. Have a look - I'd be interested in your opinion.
EUM - Kitesurfer - why warrants in particular? Do you single these out as better value than the shares? Surely, if they're going up, they're going up? Can you explain why you think these are paricularly good value please, and also, how do you trade in warrants?
BDH - results are due to be published in Feb (don't know when exactly). Trading statement issued on 12 Jan said that these would be strong, so this could help price. Also, 2 of the management are heading up a probable MBO, and as a result the price has remained high, but could well go higher. They may be looking expensive at the moment, but I think that it will continue to go from strength to strength. Look at rivals SpeedyHire (SDY) for comparison
EOL - GedW - I'm assuming you mean litigation being settled with PRTY (Partygaming) not PTY (Parity). Unless of course you know something else ...
DGM - My confidence in this company has gone now, and spurred on by nicksig's post earlier I've bailed too. The constant absence of news cannot be good, and cynic's warnings about bad news coming in 3s may still hold true. I had hoped that DGM were just in consolidation and are strengthening their position. I'm no longer convinced, and the continually weakening sp has forced me into a stoploss. Of course you cd buy in further, but nightmares of HHO still haunt me! I'm not counting out future success, but I think that it may be some way off now. Good luck, whatever your decision.
CDS - Advice please. I've just been cold called by a broker, tipping this stock to fly. I've not heard of this company until now, but it seems fairly volatile. I'm about to start doing some research myself. In the interim, anything that anyone else knows would be most appreciated. Thanks
Zanderg - read the RNS (through their website). After their most recent share transactions they state "Following the above transactions the Company has 112,046,201 ordinary shares in issue." Accordingly, 50K shares is very little. cf 100K buy today However - look at news about value of the cargo of 'Vanilla'. Buy now for strong rises over next few months - they aim to begin recovery program from Mar 06.
TPA - GedW - in Oct you listed these as a 'strong buy' due to an over reaction in the sp to negative news. However, not much seems to have changed. Do you still hold this view, or has your situation moved on? Curious for your opinion.
TAL - Chan - thanks for note. This has developed into a slow steady grower. The company is continuing to produce a reasonable amount of materiel, has branched out into radio, and is involved in acquisitions. I'm happy that its continuing to grow, and am in for long term. Glad to see you around. I think that it might be time for a punt on SUB now too - just prior to March exploration.
PWR - RHPS is a share tipping magazine, so it is purely an opinion. Their belief is that this is both undervalued, and set for twofold expansion 1 - Because non-league football is a growth industry, 2 - because the world cup this year is likely to further fuel this industry.
