GreenRoc Accelerates their World Class Project to Production as Early as 2028. Watch the full video here.
wayner - like the oars option. Not so fast, but a hell of a lot cheaper!
GedW - sorry. Not sure. All the RNS state Spearhead Ltd, Inc. The only company I could find called Spearhead is SPHE. No company website for clarification, but it is the only one in IT consulting. Could be serendipity, but I think that we're talking about the same one.
RPP - this company has been sinking for 2 years now. Who can believe that it was once on £4/share? They make propellors, took an age to get distributors and have now got delays in the props themselves. If, and its a big if, they can get production sorted out, and start getting some regular sales, then they'll be a bargain. Until then, avoid.
PTY - I've done a v small amount of digging. Spearhead (EPIC: SPHE, sp 45p) listed on AIM in Jun 05. They too specialise in IT consulting, and launched themselves promising strategic acquisition. PTY seem one of their first targets. SPHE have increased from 10.8% of shares on 02 Dec to 21.69% in less than a fortnight. Clearly set for takeover? Probably. PTY have been having troubles recently, largely due to their loss making American side, which they have now disposed of and seen their sp get back to better levels. However, their financials aren't looking too hot for me, with a heavy loss listed for H1 2005, and expected loss per share of 0.64p at interims. So - does this matter, or will the takeover (on the assumption that SPHE are doing that) just drive the price higher in the short term? Thats 15 mins of cursory research. Does anyone have any more detailed info they can add, or better yet, experience? GedW - anything further to add?
DGM - Spratty - you may be right about a big T Trade behind, but actually I thought we'd see far more sells than we have done so far. In my rough calculations, about 2M shares have been traded, but only around 400K have been sells. This might mean that its all in the open at the moment. I still expect the sp to dip this afternoon though.
DGM - there can't be huge quantities of profit to be taken, but from 11:17 there have been c400K of sales. This will probably take some of the energy of todays rise out of the price, and may see the sp slip back this afternoon. All in all though, its still good news.
DGM - nicksig. Lets all hope so - I'd be quite pleased if my portfolio started heading green as opposed to resolutely in the red! Majority of 1M+ shares traded today have been buys thus far. I'm sure there'll be a lot of ATs and profit taking around the 6/7p area, but hopefully this will break through that and push on towards more historic levels.
DGM - nicksig - I was just about to say 'ballsey' about buying in more, when the sp ticked up again to 5p. Perhaps it is worth it - I'm just going to hold until I get some tangible profit for now. Finally though there seems to be a lot of optimism about the share, the news coming in seems to be good, and the company seems to have sorted out its priorities. Good luck!
Tim - sorry to be idle and not read all of the posts, but a quick question. If the company has made 500% profit over last year - no mean feat - why has the sp been falling consistently since mid Oct 05? Was it over valued then, or has the market not woken up to the company? Interesting that such strong results have seen a near 6% fall in sp this morning. Is there something else going on behind the scenes that is keeping investors away?
PRTY seems to have peaked temporarily, and has dropped off recently but still has further increases I'm sure. It took an age to break back through 100p, then raced away and is now suffering correction. Behind this though are strong trading statements and revised analyst targets of 150p. It may be optimistic of me, but I'm planning to post a sell at 150p too. The spread is only 0.25p now, so I'm sure that there is profit to be had out there.
Any ideas what sparked the reduction in sp (down to 6.75) before subsequent rise back up to 7.25? There don't appear to have been any really big trades, and no news that I'm aware of. Blink, and you'd have missed it, but it got my interest by chance
Wayner, Dinky - thanks for your advice. Like a fool I didn't activate my stop loss as I should have done months ago - optimism really shouldn't be a factor, but in this case it was for me. My shares have taken a real kicking, but luckily a. they're not my only option, and b. I'm hoping that most of the weakness is already in the price. Following that, I think I'll hold and sit this out as a (very) long term option. As you say, hold and risk... Better luck elsewhere (as a suggestion, try a look at MBH. Quite tasty I think)
HHO - Restructuring RNS promises 'substantial dilution' to shareholders. Clearly not positive news. And yet the market is full, with 10M deals today, majority as buys. I'm still left with stock. Shd I just get out now and lick my wounds, or is there any any scope for growth in the future? All opinions sought, altho if Dranelli comes in with a 'stong buy' I might be suspicious...
PRTY - debbie - I hope that you've stuck with PRTY. You were justifiably bullish about it in the dark days of continual falls. I have just about got back into black, thanks in part to your confidence - I hope you've made some good profits too. Anything to set against LGB and HHO is good news right now. Hoping for continued gains now
HHO - proof that KM keeps busy. Already in news, sp took bit of dip yesterday, which may have been coincidence, or seen by market that HHO is in a bad way across its portfolio. Don't know whether this will make any difference. Any thoughts anyone?http://www.pressgazette.co.uk/article/241105/mackenzie_hires_former_nme_man_to_revive_front
chan - I'm a muppet. For LSE, read SUB
LSE - Chan. Price now at more normal levels. Still nothing expected until mid next year, but now has got to be a better time to buy. I'm waiting to see if sp drops further in depths of winter before a speculative buy
ARX - thanks Mark. Its not out as an RNS, but the market seems to have taken it well, and it bodes very well for the future.
ARX - Great rise in sp, yet no news obvious. Anyone any thoughts ideas about what might be the cause? Are we going to witness one of GedW's classic 5pm drops? Or am I missing something more obvious?
HHO - Wayner - its got a long way to go until I've got my losses back. Buy high, hold low - thats what happened to me, and I let share sentimentality get in the way of a stop loss. I'm with Sprattyken on this one. Hope you were luckier
