LTH for more years than i can remember. Saw them hit 155p but as usual failed to realise my profit. Have bought all the way down and now sitting on 47% profit. Finally the investment world has picked up on the solid potential and when the scramble for Lithium supplies begins BCN will be at the forefront. With Ganfeng holding the board's hand, no more delays and procrastination. Full steam ahead. DYOR
Nobody wants to be out of WSBN over the Christmas break. I'm in at 2 p so this has given me something to smile about despite being separated from my family for Christmas and New Year. The one that really annoys me is AFC. sold at a loss at 14P. Now 65p Doh! Have a good Christmas everybody.
Just looking at GGP fundamentals compared with WSB . WSB cap is 50 times less. Multiply WSB SP by 50 times and you are looking at an SP of £8. Have cleared out of a lot of errors in judgement and reinvested here. Roll on 2021.
AIM makes no sense. Amount sold 43.2m Amount purchased 6.2M yet the price goes up. When I was a dealer in the old market in 1974 , with such trades I would have dropped the price so fast and kept dropping until I saw the whites of a buyer's eyes. Who knows what ? Is somebody outside the market quietly picking these up.?
I sent this email to Cadence 7th December. Have not had a response.
Good Day. I have been a shareholder Via Hargreaves Lansdown for some considerable time and in fact since the REM days and probably like you I am disappointed with the share price, although due to continued investment at lower levels, I am enjoying a profit.
I have always had a great deal of faith in the future of your organisation although I believe that shareholders are not advised of asset changes. I have noticed that several shareholdings have been disposed of such as Auroch but no notice has been given to the shareholders. In many instances the holdings percentages are substantially reduced but we are not advised the reasoning behind the changes nor are we advised whether this proved to be a good investment or an error in judgement. Also what happened to the 100% interest in the Greenland Project ? No longer mentioned.
I have been trying to calculate the current asset value and so far find that it amounts to £56m but this does not include Amapa nor Sonora and I am sure that there are other assets which I am unable to put a value on. This against a shareholder value of £21m . I am sure that if Cadence were to produce a list of current assets this would have a very favourable effect of the share price.
One other point. Some time ago The Board attempted to have the company quotation moved to the main LSE. This was denied on the basis that Cadence was not a mining company but an investment company. This has now changed with the Amapa Project and when this proves to be successful, I wonder whether the Board may consider applying again.
I look forward to hearing from you in particular with answers to the points I
have raised.
I got sucked or( is it suckered) into this by a tweet in October. I usually include a stop loss but didn't do it this time. I am down 60%. So next move. Wait it out or pump some more in to get my average down. That has worked in the past. I'll sit on my hands for now. Fortunately, i bought into WSBN again from a tweet so that it keeping my spirits up.
Threw another £1k in this morning first thing at .14. Also emailed my MP asking him to pass my thoughts to the appropriate Govt department. My thoughts being that if local councils can prevent companies from reaping the benefit of years of effort and £millions of investment in exploration of domestic natural resources, this will have a detrimental effect
on further progress in becoming energy self sufficiency . Who will invest if they think that the asset can become worthless due to few local bigots. He has confirmed that he will take the necessary steps.
Somebody seems to have penetrated your heel!
Lenigas. I followed DL into KDNC (REM ) BCM and UKOG. Had I sold when appropriate I would have done well. KDNC 22p equivalent before consolidation, UKOG 14p and BCN 155p I regret not selling then but you can't blame DL, just my greed. Fortunately, I have averaged somewhere near the bottom on most and now my averages are KDNC 9p UKOG 0.40p and BCN 38P. I expect to clean up.
Kdnc holding in EMH £6.38m kdnc cap £19m. with all their other assets this Is bonkers . Awaiting investing world to notice. Some years ago. I sold half my holding in Kdnc and bought Emh, bcn, MacArthur Mins. Worked out well except for BCN which I
Should have sold at 155p. Hindsight Is a wonderful thing.
Twitter posts seem to be my investment guide at the moment and it has served me well of late. This company was mentioned so I took a £1k punt. Looking forward to some interesting developments. So glad we are on the main market . Most of my investments are on the AIM where anything can happen and usually does.
SomersetUK Very interested in your post. I have an Australian portfolio via IG which I set up to invest directly in all of the lithium companies that KDNC have an interest but have also added some OZ mining stocks picked up from Hotcopper. I would be grateful if you would share your research on companies with a stake in the Haveiron area I am
In Walkabout resources and legend both of which have served me well
