The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
At sub 30p I fully expect Kamani and Carol Kane and probably others to stave off this challenge from Ashley. It will be the catalyst for a bidding war here which will see a significant re-rate upwards. Not a good time to be short. No brainer BUY at these levels.
Oooh it’s a tough one … who’s likely to know more ? DayTroll and his fake ‘fun punt’ or Mike Ashley ?
Old history. First lesson of investing - past performance is not a guide to future performance. I remember you thought CNA couldn't rise to 173p when I bought at 50p ???
When a bid for BOO comes in (which at these prices is very likely) it will jump to 60p no problem. If a bid doesn't come in the company fortunes will turn around in time and go to 60p. Suggest you do some research. I'm not worried about short term dips - just allows me to buy more BOO. Risky I know, but done it many times before.
Results RNS was disappointing but signs are good with SP recovery from 28p to 31p. Many stocks fared far worse than Boo today! Analyst call indicated the USDC opening couldn’t have gone any better. This will be reflected in next update. SP is way too low for this company and it’s future prospects so I will keep adding from time to time.
Oke - Thanks for the updates. Disney at Debenhams? Hmm, interesting, I didn't know about that. You also mention NEXT and Hugo Boss are using Debenhams. Any more? I may have missed a few posts amid the forest of green boxes. Next year should be a big one for Debenhams. Good to see BOO's marketing is firing on all brands and all regions. Lots of activity and the new US DC ramping up. Only a matter of time before the markets pick up on this and a re-rating occurs.
... but not Severn Trent. Ofwat has decided many water companies are failing the performance measures on pollution, leaks, etc. Many will have to pay back customers millions and reduce their bills. However, Severn Trent Water had the best performance of all the water companies and will be allowed to charge £88m more across all of the 4.6 million households and businesses it serves. Good news for shareholders.

Well it takes a special kind of thicko DayTroll when spell checkers are ubiquitous these days for your spelling to be so atrocious. You seem to be proud of it though. You're the perfect example of someone who is not intelligent enough to realise that he's not very intelligent. Maybe explains your enormous self-confidence and arrogance? 🤡
Massively oversold. There's very little downside risk at this price. Last TU was very positive. Ashley and Umar know what they're doing buying in and probably will accumulate more. SP doesn't bother me one bit - in fact the opposite as it just gives me a good price to buy more and since the company IMO are doing the right things, in time the SP will be re-rated. Shares like BOO can pop upwards suddenly 40% in a day and leave everyone in their wake. GLA.

Profit warning!
Crawshaw , this (below) from BBC, doesn't explicitly say more rises are off the table but the general inference is that ECB think this could be the last rise. In addition, many EU indices (and BOO) started down today and ended up.
"But the ECB signalled that Thursday's hike could be the last for now.
"The governing council considers that the key ECB interest rates have reached levels that, maintained for a sufficiently long duration, will make a substantial contribution to the timely return of inflation to the target," the bank said.
It added that it expected inflation in the 20-nation bloc to fall to around 2.9% next year and 2.2% in 2025."
I can't see sage under a new name - maybe deleted already ? DayTroll has a history of posting in the wee hours - I'd have trouble sleeping with all those investment failures of his. Remember Flybe ?
DayTradeNovice, your constant disparaging comments such as "rampy rubbish", "delusional minds" , etc., says a lot more about you than about the investors you keep trying to belittle.
By the way, nobody believes you have a "fun punt" here.
Anyone remember John Hume rampy love for Greatland Gold (GGP) a couple of years ago? Currently down 64% over last two years. I hope this gets a mention in his book UNBELIEVABLE INVESTMENT FAILURES.
I wonder why he keeps so very quiet about GGP these days. 😂😂😂😂
Knowbodyyouknow - "Still feel skeptical about NC, as the right choice, but this does sound positive. All of the above specifically to highlight the boo range?"
Personally, I'm fine with NC because they also have younger well known models signed up - so this is just an extension. I think the Apple TV mini-series is one of those documentaries where the cameras have been following the supermodels around as they do their job such but it gives extra exposure to Naomi, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington. There may be a mention of her launch with PLT depending when they filmed it all, I honestly don't know. Vogue are probably in on the act to pump up the TV series. Any publicity helps BOO and all this coverage has been timed to dovetail nicely into the PLT NC collab, US DC ramping up and faster delivery times in USA. It's very clever marketing in my opinion - something Shein, etc. seem to know SFA about.
Great news about the Naomi collaboration. Front cover of Vogue and a new supermodels mini-series on Apple TV about to launch. Gonna be a good few weeks ahead - watch this space. Added to my pile of BOO today @33.8p.
"Not seen that before" - OMG, where have you been? Proof, not that we needed it, that this site is full of total amateurs claiming to be experts.
To be fair DayTroll's cry out for help about the "broken system" may have been an early warning sign. Nowadays he gets some weird comfort denigrating BOO 24/7 , posting on average 5 times a day for the last 3 years, on the BOO board where he has no investment. Really sad case and it can't be good for his health.
Investment failures. 😂😂😂😂
Sold CNA @156p today. Bought August 2021 @50.2p. Check back in my posting history if you don't believe me.
Now what to do with the cash? Book another cruise or buy some more BOO, definitely not buying RYA.
