The wells in the Yelemes structure are reported as being shut in during the licence upgrade procedure. This is in the first of today's RNSs. Presumably this is because there is no point in pumping oil at domestic prices when international prices will soon be available. When this is resolved then output should rise again.

Yes CC you've rumbled me. I will come clean. As a result of a recent visit to a fortune teller I was told that I would become marginally richer in 2021 as result of a current investment and that I should hold onto it.

Thanks for the info Adrianz. The sp could go either way depending on the haste of the seller and the news from CASP. Next year I expect it to be higher than it is now, but by how much I couldn't say.

The CASP sp changes on very little volume. It really doesn't take much change in sentiment. Anyway I am not worrying too much about short term fluctuations. I am holding for the long term. CC is a very good source of information and has alerted people to interesting opportunities in other shares for which I am sure many people on this board are very grateful. Its just that he is also sometimes a source of misinformation!

The CASP information vacuum always breeds speculation and provides a space for rampers and derampers alike. In the case of CC he has fallen into both categories at different times. At least FK was consistent!

We can't assume just because we don't have production and sales figure for April yet that no oil has been sold. CASP are not known for their speed in putting out information, and perhaps we will have an RNS later this week. If you read this board Clive, it would be good to know!

Adrianz, your link doesn't mention Caspian Sunrise but suggests large and mid size fields will have to take a cut in output. I don't know if CASP counts as mid-sized. If they do have to cut production then they might have to issue an RNS. The cat is still in the bag, and there might not be a cat at all. The 22% cut is not a new announcement but has been known for some time.

My money is on the shoe industry and the bike industry. I also will be buying shares in WTF

thanks JoeSoap. Interesting article which seems to suggest that CASP output will be unaffected by the quota, all of which will fall on the mega fields operated by foreign oil companies. Must be worth a little on the SP.

It's relatively unusual to get TA discussion on this board so welcome cminnhinett and phoebus. I think it is marginally better than astrology myself but if there are enough true believers dabbling in this share then it will become a very pleasant self fulfilling promise.

I was worried at the previous RNS that they were getting fewer oil from 153 than 151, but now they are both producing the same number of oil, and 153 is no longer producing less barrels. You would expect a biggerer sp from all this. Traders must be as innumerate as i am illiterate!

I would like to agree with Badgernator that people are going to be put off public transport ( although only until there is an effective vaccination). The same applies to airlines. The question is what is going to happen to these industries in the interim. When you finally go to the pub, Badgernator, please don't use the car!

I agree with CC that there will both be a recession and a quicker than normal recovery (but with the same proviso about waiting for the vaccination).

Casp should be able to reduce their share quite easily based on past performance
