VAL will RNS in good time as they obviously will not compromise their negotiating position - as a shareholderr I whole heartedly agree. Let the process complete fully, contracts signed and then RNS the deal. GM mentioned it in the Q&A at Edinburgh but noyly a formal RNS, so do not have to comment.

I can’t see the filtered Kane, but obviously hit a nerve.

We have funding until Autumn quite easily, but 401 upfront payments and milestones should mean we are self financed for 101 and 301 etc.

I also think that eyes are on VAL with 201, so would not be surprised if VAL 201 gets sold at CTl/ll, which if the results signify a positive PSA colleration, should sell in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

401 trade

Until we get an RNS, there is nothing for the market to agree or disagree with, but looking at the volume today and this last few weeks I would say much more buying than selling, stock overhang going or gone, BoD buy, Slater increases his stake by 4mn shares, 201 confirmed as positive, 401 peer review and confirmed in talks with various parties, cash burn slowed considerably and funding until autumn etc

Where is the negatives?

I guess the deals have to be RNS’d before starting CTlll, unless the 4 of the 6 parties in agreement push to start the process.

For a CTlll bio, VAL should be valued now at least 5 times its current value to match its counterparts valuations.

Then we have VAL401 deal added on, so l’m looking at the Hardman initial target of circa 10.5p per share, then thereafter 201.

I do wonder with the govt meeting, endorsement of the NHS today whether VAL will get a funding donation?

I only read about half the posts here as the ill-informed herd are all blocked which makes reading much more enjoyable

Feels like optimism returned and the fact the directors bought suggests the tide has turned.

What we know:

401 passed pre-CT plus CT l/ll and ll with positive outcome on a small sample albeit, but did the job to progress and regulatory approved to move to CTlll in addition to getting independent peer approval in the RNS last month.

VAL are in talks with 6 parties in multi-continent geographies, with 2 being the sticking point in talks last year with boundary differences which we hope should be resolved soon and then a full sign off and contractual agreements made in 1st qtr 2019 with upfront payments, milestone payments and royalties unless a full trade sale???

The move from CTll to lll is to get the drug to market, but CTll is the ideal juncture for VAL to commercialise from both a product crystallisation perspective and to stop further direct financing allowing the freeing ip of funds for other compounds.

Feeling reltively positive and upbeat for positive news this quarter.

Quite Tommy, 401 should have been wrapped EO 2018, but due to boundary differences of 2 of the 6 ‘interested’ parties wanting to do a deal, GM expects matters to be wrapped up this quarter as per the Edinburgh seminar.

Also remember during the presentation that an initial upfront payment was never a hurdle during talks so far.

I still expect a multibag from here when we get the 401 JV news.

If it was a fudge how would it get peer approval, pass pre-CT, pass CT l/ll and CT ll, get full regulatory approval all the way.

Funding requirement has reduced substantially

VAL have enough money for the next 9 months and indefinately once 401 upfront and milestone payments are made

The BoD have invested recently, in the past invested hundreds of thousands to set up pre-IPO and Satu has over 9% interest.

Twchnically the bowl is forming and MACD crosing upwards.
