They mention that they have a number of contacts in the O&G industry . Really ! So why did they need Hannam to find a buyer & that was as a result of Kamrans recommendation. Sounds like crap to me.

NVG, I read it as the new team would drill the horizontal & farm out after as we would not have the funds to develop the field any further without someone with deep pockts.

May I remind you that the 2 fools had NO experience at BOD level before RBD. As such their history of running a co. is disastrous.

Yes Ahris, proof , if further proof were needed of their complete lack of technical ability. They bet the ranch on WN which is disastrous for so called "financial experts". The clarification by the potential incumbents is most welcome. Still S&S out for me !

deemule, is it undervalued ? Probably but WN is not a slam dunk & as the idiots adopted a cavalier approach to their "investment strategy" with Rathlin they have made RBD almost a one trick pony which is not what we originaly signed up for. Many of us believed the original strategy was compelling, they completely failed to deliverdue to poor decision making. Their conduct has been unforgivable.
They're in trouble now & a bl00dy good job too.
As others have posted here they have shown no remorse as indicated by their remuneration package & I predict an interesting & stormy GM. I hope they're ready to clear their desks !

I have listened to the 2 bozos rhetoric over the years with increasing concern. The rot started with the .9p raise to increase their stake in Rathlin thereby exposing us to increased drill costs & tying up a lot of capital which I have never agreed with. How many other opportunities were missed as a result ? We have suffered years of slow progress during which they have ignored shareholders whilst making themselves rich in the process. I believe they are unfit for purpose & now they reality of them being ousted has galvanised them into conducting a charm offensive on us. Who do they think they're kidding !
I know there are concerns about the potential new management such is my level of hatred towards the 2 fools a change is a risk i'm happy to take.

We have suffered years of underperfomance here. I beleive the 2 ceo's to be moraly bankrupt & can see no compelling reason to vote in their favour.
I think the penny has finally dropped & they are worried that the gravy train is about to end. Not befre time tbh.

The circular today deals with the issues raised by the Requisitioning Shareholders and their statements about the current board and the incoming board.

The current portfolio activity, as previously stated is as follows:

Reabold North Sea farm out process
West Newton drilling of the Horizontal well in H1 next year
Pensacola drilling by Deltic and Shell with read across for our adjacent licence P2332 as part of our Simwell acquisition
Daybreak operational activity ongoing
Romania is currently on hold (given the current extensive activity in the portfolio), but strategic options are being considered.

Finally, we have also given the indication of an intent for a £4 million distribution upon receipt of the second tranche of proceeds from the Shell transaction.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks, we will ensure we reiterate this planned activity.

In the past he has been an advocate of the current incumbents but no doubt developments over the last few months have changed his views. After the interview today I can only sat it certainly wasn't stunning & imo they have done nothing to further their, sadly rather brlken, case

Moniman, one could ask the question 'what experience did S&S have as directors ? None as far as I'm aware ! They were analysts, no more no less.

I think the question is how can a new Bod do any worse. I have no doubt that our current lot are founering & I belive CF & co will be putting something shortly.

Yes JD the Simwell purchase was always a gamble by them & I never understood why.
No mention of Cali or Parte is also a telling point imo. The pair of them are at best deludional.

deemule & quite how do we ditch Dbrm ? We hold 42% of them, we will not find a willing buyer so any attempt to exit would collapse the sp.
