persimmon, where do you get your info on the API at WB ? Heavy oil is classed as below 23 between that and 31 is classed as medium crude. Can you direct me to your findings/data on this as I can't find anything ?

I think RBDs strategy is to sell on any asset (apart from California) at the post appraisal stage. If their numbers on Npv's are correct it's what makes investing in this Co. So compelling.

I reckon if an appraisal well is appropriate they'll use a Jack up again. If successful the producers will be drilled from onshore. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. This is the highest risk well Teabold are exposed to so wait and see. Fingers crossed. For what it worth, and always dyor, I met a retired oil services engineer who worked for BP at Wytch farm a few weeks ago. He was very bullish on Colder.

Yes, they'll need further approval but remember this is an exploration play. The results of which will decide the optimum place to drill an appraisal well in the event we find something worthwhile.

As you are well aware RBD are not operators, therefore they have no control over events. I'm sure they are disappointed over the delay's but are not in a position to address the situation (notwithstanding the elements) You however remain a complete pain in the backside, something which is under your control but, quite simply, choose to ignore & continue with your own drivel.

After the delays Jay has experienced I would imagine they are confident of providing an update this month as per the recent RNS. Personally I believe it will be about an offtake agreement, all imho of course.

Probably due to no news, still awaiting the green light on Wick although it's a done deal imo. Could do with news from California too,
