There's no way imo that RBD will have any interest in UJO, their business model is completely different. If Rathlin need tio raise additional funds then RBD would provide capital to maintain or increase their level of investment, no more.
Rbd will sell their interest at the appropriate time, neither they or Rathlin wish to take this to production as far as I know.

The 24% cos for oil was for the cadeby reef formation. They are testing an unexpected hydrocarbon accumulation. The core samples will give them an idea of the porosity & permeability of the structure so they are very important

Rathlin have looked at the core samples & have now embarked on the ewt. They must be fairly confident & just as a reminder, they are one of the best when it comes to carboniferous formations. They know what they're doing & we'll know in due course.

Of course Spike, i have no argument with reasoned debate & there is always the possibility that things dont go to plan. We all do our own dd & for me we're with an excellent operator who seem cautiously optimistic & any failure will not be for want of trying.

RBD issued an RNS this morning solely due to informing the market about their increased investment in Rathlin. Mentioning testing started was just a little titbit on the end. Rathlin Nomads etc will have been ok with that. It was not a specific announcement concerning WN. We will receive RNS's when appropriate to do so, simple as that.
We will know soon enough re tankers etc arriving/departing & I wouldn't expect any news on that, the swampies will keep us up to date. An RNS is issued to deal with facts, i'e results of the completed well test not events leading up to it.

I think for the EWT they'll test the liquids first & then the gas. If it goes into production in the future the gas will provide pressure to help lift the oil but a substantial amount of gas will come up too. Look at VG4 for instance.

p.s. I'm not an oil expert just what I think is the case lol.
