So would this make us a better risk to a big pharma thinking of a takeover? Especially with all the tax credits other designations provide?

We have seen how the team have struggled to recruit enough patients to finish phase 1. I would imagine it will be even more difficult for phase 2.

Fingers crossed for patients and investors this is sorted out quickly.

It looks like we are back to slow and steady uptick with the sp. So long as we don’t get anymore good news we should get to 1p in the next week or so.

I think the shortest trial would be possibly be 2 phases. Phase 3, is there anything actually to compare it against, I would say no. Just my understanding of all the info you can find and try to amalgamate.

That isn’t to say we can’t get expedited approval via one of our many other designations or possibly via the FDA rules changing like you say through government initiatives. But there always to be lots of bargaining to get Acts passed in USA and sometimes the worthwhile bits get dropped.

Let’s just wait and see what happens with this application. 60 days isn’t a long time to wait.

Whatever logical argument you write some people will berate you unfortunately. There were people who said unless revenue by first 2 months of the year (giving the company a grace period after the end of 2024 deadline) they would reconsider their positions but still religiously believe all the hype rather than the facts.

Honestly I have reconsidered and now down to a fraction of what I use to own. Until FG gives some factual evidence of revenue and not just ndas, which actually don’t mean any guarantees of future revenues, then I am afraid the only person getting paid is FG and quite well paid for not actually producing results he keeps promising. Would any other manager still have their job if they missed so many key milestones? I don’t think so.

We all want this to succeed but FG needs to be more honest about timeframes and revenues. This is a business not a never ending academic project. The fears this company is just ticking over until we get litigation money and then FG will regain ownership of his watermark and retire and shut down the company remain.

I am sure I will now be bombarded by insults but better people say what they feel rather than just following blindly without looking at any facts.

Well that is quite a detailed document.

2 things jump out.

1) IB must be confident to go straight for designation rather than going through the preliminary process.

2) if it does get the designation the FDA/CBER do get all the senior managers involved to really help get approval.

If they do get this then it must get noticed by a big pharma. Plus hopefully within the same timeframe the last phase 1 participants have completed a month.

I know and understand people keep saying £1 a share is stupid from where we are now. But from all what we read the FDA seem desperate to get IB003 expedited. This drug seems to help prolong the life of GBM suffers and that is fantastic. We can debate the possible valuation and/or TB’s shenanigans as much as we want but to these sufferers this is making a real difference which the team should have our utmost praise. Subsequently that is what other bigger companies will be looking at because to them that will be big profits.

This is just the IB003 side then add in the imaging side then think what this company could be worth.

No reply from Semantic about why he thinks TB may be scared of promoting the company? I can’t think of an actual video that showed TB talking. Maybe we need to do a raise to get TB some media training. We need a CEO who can speak to the media confidently. If he is afraid, unable or can’t for whatever reason (I hope he is ok) then he should realise that is to the detriment of the company and maybe look to step aside.

Has TB ever answered questions from the shareholders at a meeting? There must be a reason he doesn’t.

Oh well great news today but predictable the sp dropped. We can’t fault the endeavour of the IB team. Let’s hope we are successful with the designation. We should find out the start of June.

Knowing TB and the 2028 options and him not wanting to share (eg Stonechecker) we may have to wait until 2029 for progress.

Joking aside I think similarly to you they will try and get FDA approval without phase 3. They seem to have settled on a maximum dosage now, if it increases life expectancy as announced today and there is nothing comparable as a drug out there then expedited approval seems on the cards hopefully. It makes sense that AM is pushing for the pathway approval.

It will be an interesting but also frustrating journey.

Might now be a good time to see if TB promoted the share the effect it can have on the sp? Great RNS, no news articles or interviews and a drop in the sp.

It does seem TB is scared of promoting this company. If so why is he still the CEO? Surely it would be better for somebody to takeover who would be shouting out successes to all who would listen. If he isn’t scared why would he be so silent?

As of June 30, 2024, the FDA has approved 317* breakthrough therapy designated products and lists that there have been 1516 total requests for the designation with 587 designations granted.

So as onceaday said I reckon just over 300 in 13 years is not many designations ie rare

A phase 2 company (when we get that far) with all our designations and the EAP, plus the exclusivity, possible vouchers, tax breaks etc is worth a punt to to a big pharma and £1 per share is only £250m which they can probably write off to tax anyway

Haha sp is like a yoyo. Just think what it could be like if TB did a bit of promotion.

Or the other way to look at it is. We all know this company will be bought somewhere down the line for far greater than 1p a share, so even small buys now could equal lots when then this really does take off.

Somebody at big pharma will be looking on and as onceaday says not many breakthrough designations about. If the team have applied I am confident they will achieve it

We all know traditionally good news equals a fall in sp. But I do feel more confident today. As I keep saying the FDA does seem to be leading us by the hand through the trial.

Don’t forget all the shares that KS own’s. Somewhere along the line Mike and Kathleen (and the other members of the team) will want to be rewarded for all their hardwork. I know the help for all the patients they are creating is immeasurable and we often unfortunately forget that. But I can’t see them letting TB getting anyway with anything that jeopardise the future financial benefit for their family and team.

The event of AM joining the company reassures me about the imaging side being world leading. He really wants to promote it and have it as the standard of brain cancer imaging and genuinely seems well respected in the USA for all his GBM campaigning.

If he can also help promote the pathways act approval then again that is another massive positive in my opinion.

His appointment does reassure me about the future of the company as I don’t believe he would want his reputation and hardly work helping others jeopardised by any TB shenanigans

It is taking far longer than we had all hoped for but I can see definite progress. I agree getting back to 5p would be a great first step.

Semantic keeps going on about the vagaries of a few sells decimating the sp. What Semantic never seems to mention is how the board intend to stop that happening. As people say semantic likes to raise points but never gives direct answers to questions

I would guess the issue with the 45 leads was how they (the hospitals) could charge the cost to insurance companies without our own code. Hence the GEHC solution of it being part of their bundled package and no separate code required.

I guess the issue may well be hospitals, medical centres now have to budget for the initial outlay of the all encompassing GEHC package. So it may be happening but it isn’t immediate due to hospital’s budget planning.

An update on prospective number of clients the package is aimed at and the subsequent target revenue would be good. Maybe more info may be forthcoming at the AGM?

Yes everything is slow with regards the progress but we will get there, I hope so anyway. If it was easy then anybody could do it. We have the relevant expertise at IB, in them we trust.
