According to previous RNS we should get results this year:

“IB003, gallium maltolate (GaM)

Following the recently reported "soft close" of our Phase 1 clinical trial for oral GaM, we anticipate formal closure approval in the near term. In parallel, our clinical team is actively preparing the Phase 1 results for publication and refining the Phase 2 protocol to reflect emerging strategic opportunities.

For the remainder of the current year, our priorities include completing the Phase 1 data analysis, scheduling the End-of-Phase-1 meeting with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), integrating their feedback into our development strategy, and evaluating Phase 2 funding pathways, including the option to independently finance.”

It would be nice to get an update from Mike but he seems very quiet, he hasn’t commented on the last few RNS’s indeed we heard from the COO last time which is very unusual. Has anybody heard directly from Mike recently, is he ok? Semantic if you know he is ok it would be good if you could somehow confirm.

Will the data analysis not have commenced when the closure was announced? Otherwise the analysis could be delayed indefinitely if patients are still receiving the treatment.

You would assume AM knew the trial results before he quit. So hopefully that fits in with the eagerly awaited results. Fingers crossed it is worth the wait. It would be good if Mike could give us an indication of when we might get the results ie before or after Christmas but we seem to be getting no indication whatsoever.

Just looking at our website it stills lists AM as a director. Hopefully that gets updated soon. I am still amazed the GaM trial is not mentioned as a standalone headline item on the website. It mentions the EAP but not the actual trial and successfully completed phase 1. Hopefully when the summary results are revealed these will be displayed prominently.

With regards the sales or lack of sales this article may shed some light on the challenges the team faces. Apologies if you have already seen this before.

Hopefully not long before the phase 1 details are released. We could do with some good news before Christmas if possible and see if the sp reacts positively, hopefully very positively and goes over 10p. That would still only value us at £25m which is nothing to a prospective partner or buyer.

Thanks for that info but quick question then why do we get some RNS at 7am and some in the afternoon? Shouldn’t all our RNSs be released pm Uk time? Not paranoid at all, just asking questions and seeing people’s responses.

Ok even though I hope it doesn’t happen but to feed the conspiracy theorists. Why do we keep getting RNS released in the afternoon. I know of the 6 hour time difference but MS would have to prepare the releases the day before so could meet the 7am UK timings by sorting in advance. Is it so most people miss this information and those who do see it only have a few hours to react?

If shenanigans are going to happen then I reckon they must happen in the next 2 months. We are on a deadline for the phase 1 results to be sent to the FDA and also self imposed deadlines for the FDA meeting and resubmitting the breakthrough drug application.

However, if there were to be shenanigans then why so many recent RNS’s? I still think these have been to appease the LTH in the aftermath of the Kirkstall debacle.

I hope no shenanigans but if you want to be negative then you could say AM didn’t want to be part of any upcoming decisions and jumped ship.

We honestly don’t know and just have to wait. What we really need is confirmation from MS of when the phase 1 results will be released.
