Hi Max
No it was TB that wrote the entire blog, so taking this paragraph as an example.
“Very highly paid directors of commercial property PLCs should get the timing right. If they can’t do this, they shouldn’t be there, should they Lex? British Land share price reach £24 in the final quarter of 2007. A very good time to launch a rights issue, instead they waited as the share price sank steadily before launching a rights issue at 225p in February 2009 . In 2007 the commercial property market was at a high, the perfect time to dispose of investments, instead British Land waited until now to sell Broadgate.”
So you could read it as that TB says:
•highly paid directors should get timings of deals correct or shouldn’t be the directors
•rights issues should be when the share price is at its highest and not at its lowest” etc
So basically TB is critical of directors who we could say have acted in a very similar manner to what has happened at IBAI.
Then he is critical of a newspaper writer, Lex (let’s say similar to Semantic) who posts supportively of the company dealings.
Just my reading of the blog and the similarities of what has happened here.
Thanks
