Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Herdie, if it’s anything like the motor industry, there is a worldwide shortage on certain chip components which may be the cause.
Generally, worldwide manufacturing has shortages, presumably due to reduced output from Covid, I know from experience how much the UK Construction Industry is struggling.
Not invested here but have used Primary Bid recently and only the App worked
I tried to buy £2k but like everyone else, I got just over £500.
Ignoring the fact that the shares weren’t in my Account to trade on Friday but if they were and if I’d turned £2k in to £8k or £10k, I’d have sold. Now that I only have £500 on the table, my £1,500 profit is still a good day’s work but I’m more likely to leave it and wait and see.
Completely understand those that cash in, for some, it’s profit and they’ll go elsewhere and I understand that for some, a £500 investment is peanuts and they’ll also go.
What comes first, the NASDAQ or the AGM?
I assume that the NASDAQ RNS that we’re all expecting will have a great impact on the SP - will the Company looks to get the Resolution and small dilution through the AGM first and then drop NASDAQ?
Clinging on to hope that this is the case as impatiently waiting for my SIPP pension transfer to complete so that I can load up further
Bingo
Haven’t they sold Rail and Civils?
Why will the group be making redundancies in something it doesn’t own??
Ouch, hope you guys are all de-risked here.
Couldn’t believe the bounce the last couple of days, thought they were only going lower - someone will be picking up the Airport and Energy for peanuts at the end of the month.
When are Stobart due to release results? Was it not due by the end of May?
Valhalla, make sure you don’t confuse STOB and ESL, Tinkler was ousted from STOB.
Interestingly, he still runs Stobart Capital
Gerry,
You appear very pleased STOB is rid of AT - did you benefit from the Growth and Dividend whilst he was at the helm or have you endured the losses under Brady?
As for AT’s reputation being tarnished over Flybe and Logistics, I’d say he dodged 2 bullets either by luck or by standing firm in what he was prepared to offer based on what he could see.
I’m pretty sure AT lost £1m when buying shares in Flybe - how much have STOB invested there to date? Surely STOB will have to walk away at some point and Branson will pick up their slots.
Logistics have delayed their results, a catastrophic loss is surely on the cards, wouldn’t surprise me if the banks call in their funding, where does that leave the loan STOB have secured against that stock.
I genuinely believe Logistics could disappear on the release of these next results.
Good luck to you, I for one am pleased to be a bystander on this one and I hope everyone has only risked what they can afford to lose here.
We’ve had Ciara, then Dennis, just wait for Logistics results to drop and then we’ll have a real storm on our hands.
Truth,
Don’t disagree with his actions, I just think a lot held for the Dividend.
Ouch, big sell off this morning on those awful interims and withdrawal of Dividend.
Maybe the Company was better with Tinkler at the helm....
Ouch - trading Suspended in ESL - wonder what impact that has on Bonds secured against them?
They will come back but be interesting to see any Ts & Cs that might cause STOB problems.
They’re also reviewing their Divi policy.
It’s all about the flights taking off from Carlisle from Thursday, them 2 flights per day must add £100m on to the mcap??
Tinkler ****ging Brady off again, no doubt another noisy AGM awaits.
Am sure I read that Tink had had enough of Stob, doesn’t seen like it. If he’s going to lead a takeover, it won’t be with Woodford - maybe Day and Jenkinson?
How many you holding crl?
Don’t worry, it’s only a loss if you sell.
These will bounce back soon, Directors know of an upcoming JV to build several RDF plants for their Energy Division to operate - it’s the best performing part of the Group so will be great news.
