yet further delays at CLDA - commercial flights now not taking off until Spring 2019.
Kate Willard stated last time that they could have delayed flights by a few weeks but didn't want a further embarrassment of another delay so opted for October to ensure flights would take off - there are now many months of delays!
what is happening to those who were presumably employed, ready for the opening in June 2018? Have they been made redundant, is the company paying them for doing nothing or were they never recruited in the first place?
No surprise that this announcement lands on the next working day after the AGM - I wonder if anyone asked at the AGM for the reasons behind the delay and whether or not October was going to happen?
what next, CLDA up for sale as this was a Tinkler project?
Rooster - in this instance, didn't they just about balance each other out?
They might not own the shares they manage but they invest in companies to deliver a return to their investors so where they believe something is wrong, in my mind, they are just as entitled to an opinion and say as a PI.
Reading online this morning that Ferguson has been re-elected and Tinkler voted back in - both by narrow margins (51%). Tinkler has since been sacked once more. Remind me again, who are the Directors working for, that’s right, the Shareholders! For me, 51% is not a vote of confidence and Ferguson should walk away - not that I expect him to do that. I don’t believe this will end here, Tinkler to spearhead a buyout?
RNS out!
right, that's it, shoes and socks off folks so that they can count in 20s.......
deary me!
Have they got their abacuses out counting all these shares - maybe needing a few re-counts given all of the RNS corrections in recent weeks!!
An "all resolutions passed" RNS would have been out by now surely?
An out of hours one stating that the Company has no Directors on the cards??
For all of the attention this AGM has had, no sign of a leak from those who attended.
Ffs, had a sell price in at 7.4p, forgot all about it - just bought back in at 8p - doh!!!!
Is it not just the change of control of a Company who owns 10.33% of NCCL rather than someone increasing or decreasing their holding?? Wouldn’t mind 10% of this when it booms.....
Yes, noticed you had a post before mine - bizarre
Buckle yourselves in, we’re in for a bumpy ride..... No, flights aren’t leaving Carlisle yet, just the AGM!! How many Directors will be in place tomorrow? We know how Tink et all are voting for Ferguson, how will they vote for Brady etc? Would love to be there to watch! Sub 200p tomorrow? It will come back.
and yet another RNS correction..... you would think, as Chief Financial Officer, he would be able to add up the shares that he sold correctly?
I'm sure Tinkler will be having a little chuckle to himself over this - pressure must be getting to them.
Do Stobart know what they're doing with all of these Share Transfer corrections?
It looks to me like the Board are doing whatever they can to boost their shareholding which, is understandable.
If my understanding is right, Shareholders will vote on the re-election of Iain Ferguson at the AGM - if he is voted in, what purpose is Philip Day going to serve if he too is voted in at the EGM?
There must be a reasonable proportion of the shares that aren't going to be voted with. We know Tinkler has the support of 33%(?) as a starting basis together with any independent supporters that he has - he may well have that up above 40% of the TOTAL Share Capital which may well turn out to be 50% of those that choose to vote.
Let's say Tinkler doesn't win and Ferguson gets the majority, it is going to be close - is there not a point where if a Chairman gets in with such a low majority, say 50-55% that he ought to "consider his position"? Surely the Chairman must receive the support of the vast majority of his Shareholders who, ultimately, are his/her boss.
Personally, I think Tinkler will get Ferguson out and if he does and if the Directors are true to their word, it won't just be an EGM to appoint Day, it will be an EGM to appoint a whole new Board.
What will that do to the SP? An interesting 2-3 weeks await!
RNS - wow, Tinkler sacked by Board!
So who is everyone on here voting for - the Chairman or Tinkler??
Morning Guys Great RNS, what news flow is still to come and what timescale?? Cheers
Is there a new podcast out or are people re-visiting an older one?
I have it on good authority that Tinkler et all are closing in on having a large enough holding to get Philip Day elected. None of the existing board will be in place within 1 month’s time.
