Just finished reading it over a cuppa in bed.

I’m really impressed with it. It’s so conservative it gives so much upside to the smallest of achievements. Yet it still rates us at 52p!

My takeouts...

- Does not include any value for the transformative Kouroussa acquisition.

- Does not include any value for exploration success at Yanfolila.

I forgot Friday was 'bird talk day'.

I'm glad my top up sparked a bit of action this afternoon.

I guess this confirms Sustainable's selling of HUM is flawed. Selling out of a gold producer at the start of gold bull run and going into diamonds when the world economy is broke does not come across as smart investing.
I topped up again today so my gain. 11 days of Q2 production. Gold is looking stable and at these prices we are making a significant amount of money.

Good to see new cases are reducing in Mali. Was never an issue for our production but good for the staff on the ground.
I guess that new airstrip will just be used for Dan Betts personal plane now. Or could we send our new Guinea gold to Yan via plane if gold hits $3000?

So the CORA news puts to bed any sort of takeoff agreement?
I'm fine with that if so. It either makes financial sense for both or not.

I've been looking at the non divi or buyback route might look like for HUM with their full focus on Kouroussa.
What financial position will they be in at the end of the year (the time when we will be pushing on with our guinea mine and paying for equipment). I think it looks roughly like this...

$45- 50million in cash/ assets (inc. Dugbe payment)
With $14million Yan debt left.

HUM maybe in such a good cash position that they may not require any of the Coris lending for the first year of building the mine (estimated at $45million which is 50% of overall mine cost). The 2nd half of the mine cost would easily be covered with our Yan profits. Of course they will get some sort of loan out but it could be nothing like what we needed for YAN.
If the POG goes our way like some are predicting, this loan might even used to fund other investments in Guinea or Mali to start work on our LOM's.
I'd still prefer some recognition for long suffering share holders but it shows what a good investment HUM is for new investors.

Hang in there Ng. I felt a lot better after writing an email to the company/ AGM. It may not do any good but it felt like they know now.

I’ve been topping up hard since the start of the year from a frustrating Solg stint. For me I need to see some changes in communication and strategy once we announce we’re net debt free.

The company need explain a short term strategy to get the SP up as doing the same as the last 3 years & not replacing Bert is not on. Maybe net debt free is the catalyst we need?

I've also sent my questions into the company for the AGM.

Apart from a question about a dividend, I also requested better communication from the company with a suggestion of a webinar/ Q&A. This was something that Bert was excellent at and openness will improve the trust.

A clear example was Dugbe, which Dan explained well in the Vox interview.

15 more production days until the end of Q2. I'm looking forward to us shining amongst unlucky miners whose production was actually affected by Covid.
Q2 results are going to be a reality check for a lot of companies. What a perfect time to add a small divi and announce we're net debt positive!
