Global markets relief on the back of positive vaccine developments and UK confirming its position for Q1 2021.

They self declared that MREL resources may fall below the sum of the firm’s MREL requirement and buffers for a period of time.... and so we / market might assume perhaps that they are in that place now?!

Only the conclusion of BoE requirements can lift price, regardless of outcome. It’s the clarity of position that matters imo.

Unfortunately, this is a necessary small step on a sequence of best case events... that might put a smile on the Lth faces just in time for Christmas. I’m guessing ;-)

Agree it’s easier to sit and observe the painful erosion of ones capital investment... but ultimately the real £££ get made by risk takers (be that longs or shorts)... difficult to call bottom just yet.

Imo you could buy this for as much as £400m... asset strip.., and still turn a tidy profit...

So at 85p... worth a gamble or average down ... I guess!!

Imo structural issues can be resolved... but customer perception is the life blood without which there would be no business.

Imo master class here by the hedges... I’m guessing they are buying and selling intraday to sucker in the longs and get shares for cheap as poss... making sure day to day we keep seeing a drop to sucker in a few more.
