Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Having used DAM a couple of weeks ago for an LFT prior to going to the states, I talked to the guy and he said they have plans to go into private health testing, i.e. food intolerance, and some general blood tests.
With the ultimate demise of covid testing at some point, they need an alternate method of revenue, otherwise they'd have to close up shop.
It's *possible* the ODX might get a DAM agreement for food intolerance stuff, who knows. I don't know whether it's licensed for use in the UK (never had any interest in that segment of ODX).
couldn't sell 70% of an exapanded company at 4p per share, but someone is going to pay 12p per share for the lot...'interesting' analysis.
"Are they getting rid?
Are they selling off?
Or are they intending to use a third party to manufacture competitively?
Please advise as you appear to know all the answers and I dont?"
They have stated as clear as day that they are getting out of covid manufacturing. What you need to ask is, if they don't own the IP (the chemistry came from Mologic), and they don't manufacture (sold to OG), exactly how much profit is there for ODX in a covid test. And then you have to ask where are the sales, as they have been absolutely awful in getting ANY sales.
And while you are at it, ask them what the status is of the DAM "head of terms" agreement, given that 5 months after it was signed, it is still not legal to sell the test in the UK, and by-the-by, no one will be wanting to buy them now anyhow, as the last of the legal need (travel to some countries) is about to drop off.
So the key news you are expecting is that they have submitted the documents by 31st of March, for a covid product, a line of business that they are fundamentally getting out of.
Innova has never been authorised in the USA, which is the same as Visitect and mologic covios.
Some were apparently distributing and selling it anyway.
Oke
THe flowflex product that was authorised back in oct 2021, is and remains fully authorised, as confirmed in the FDA piece that you linked to, and it also appears on the FDA EUA list. This "ban" relates to a different version of the flowflex test.
"The ACON Laboratories Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test, authorized by the FDA on October 4, 2021, is not the subject of this Safety Communication and can continue to be used. "
Reggie still hasnt gave the details of all those antibody test pre orders he mentioned numerous times as fact in jan/feb 2021. He wouldn’t have been stating stuff as fact that wasn’t factual, would he ?
There is the rather significant implication of this that DAM now has no indication at all as to when or if they will ever be able to use that visitect test that they notionally paid £750,000 for back in nov. I say notionally because that ‘contract’ was still be referred to as ‘head of terms’.
Nice that reggie Perrin isn’t all that bothered about the ability of the sole announced interested party to use the visitect test in their testing centres.
If they sell CD4 and the food intolerance....exactly what is ODX's rationale for existing when they've sold everything except some cambridge based manufacturing capability.
"As a long term holder with a significant level of investment, who sees beyond Covid"
i see reggie perrin has magically went from "only half way thru a pandemic" to "seeing beyond covid" in a period of a couple of months.
Mind you this is the same guy that posted in Jan 2021 on this forum:-
"I can see antibody LFTs being rolled out for home use but not antigen LFTs - not in the short to medium term (I understand it would require a legislative change)."
https://www.lse.co.uk/profiles/regulatoruk/?page=93 (see 18-jan-2021 on that page, posted at 13:23....I LOVE that lse keeps a record of every single post).
In the year and a bit since then, literally billions and billions of LFT antigen tests were rolled out for home use, whilst not a single antibody LFT was ever licensed for distribution by government for home use.
Some of his posts from around that time, that were, lets say, "quite optimistic" in nature regarding the RTC are worth reviewing.
"There’s no need to overhype this. What we do know is that at least 27 countries are currently involved in discussions ..."
28-Jan-2021
"I think you're right there. They're ramping up the pre-orders in anticipation of 15 February."
29-Jan-2021
"I think what we're seeing is a further push of those pre-orders as we get closer to the 15 February (Unshackling Day)."
04-Feb-2021
"And the RTC has been taking professional pre-orders for the AbC19 test for months..."
04-Feb-2021
The 15 February is Unshackling Day.
09-Feb-2021
Pre-orders are being ramped up again prior to Unshackling Day.
11th of Feb about colin king (this one particularly didn't age well)
"He always underpromises and overdelivers, unlike some other CEOs."
All those pre-order references that were stated as fact. Be interesting to hear who these factually stated pre-orders got delivered to, from the same person that stated them.
For those that are only around recently, the ABC test was a complete and total failure for ODX. Not a single gov order outside the UK, and not a single order ever announced, aside for the 200K units for UK gov over a year ago, that UK gov is disputing payment for.
This should be a perfect lesson that many an "expert" on here may just in fact have an agenda, or at best be spectacularly wrong.
*Snork*
It is notable that some will blame people that spoke the truth about the company, as evidenced by what was subsequently revealed by the company and the resultant share price, and not blame the ones that ramped the bejese out of it and whose cool-aid they drank when buying the shares.
"Need to sell CD4 and focus on the Food Intolerance side of the business."
As has been advised by another poster, they don't own CD4, they just license the product.
I never looked at anything other than the covid angle for ODX as that was the reason I bought in, so never investigated CD4 or the food stuff. Having had it confirmed that they don't own CD4, do those that are still into ODX know whether the food intolerance is their own IP, or was that also licensed many years ago.
"Need to be rid of the Chairman and current CEO. A more humble approach rather than arrogance will win the favour "
This was one of the things the action group talked about. What they haven't addressed is who they want to replace them, or who do they want to undertake the process of replacing them. The "current" CEO has hardly warmed the seat. If both he and the chairman are forced to quit, I have no idea who the action group expect to pick the corresponding replacements. Human nature means they will hardly want to be involved in replacing themselves.
"Anyone pumping this stock should be ignored."
A phrase equally applicable today as it's been over the last couple of years.
AnthonyW, how many shares do you have, what price did you pay for them, and what is your target price.
I remember AnthonyW, he was the guy that use to tell people not to engage with certain people including me, and then would engage those people and ask how many shares they held in ODX and what their target price is.
So AnthonyW, how many shares do you have, what price did you pay for them, and what is your target price. You have never once stated your holding in ODX, although you must have ask people dozens of times to state theirs.
they'll not secure a loan when the bank realises that they couldn't secure a placing from the shareholders.
is that the same marik that 3 weeks ago was expecting a bid of £250M+ for the company ?
well those numbers are clearly not right, the numbers seems similar for resolution 1 and 2, but 1 passed and 2 failed.
I see one LFT device announcing they've been approve by the CTDA in March
https://everythinggeneticltd.co.uk/2022/03/ctda-approval-for-everything-genetics-lateral-flow-test-confirmed/
Not one I've heard of before.
I also note that biosure have started selling their home anitbody test again, having not done so for months, so I assume they have also received approval. I note ABDX is pushing them in a tweet today.
