My local Greggs has just been refurbished and has doubled in size so must be doing well. Mind you they have also just opened an outside eating area which at this time of year is probably a little bit optimistic.

My GKN shares are in a HL SIPP and I have been told that GKN claim some sort of obscure tax regulation does not allow them to issue them to people in this situation.

Got that no problem. Sold JDW a few months back at +45%, not yet been quite so lucky here but I can wait and vouchers are a bonus.

I cant read the article as I will not pay to read news but as I understand the situation the current plan is to receive and process the product at site A. Then it will be sent by conveyor to export through a new ship loader. Just along from the proposed location of the new ship loader are 2 ship unloaders and associated conveyors ex steelworks. My guess is that after a few years sitting idle these will have fallen to bits thru rust and building and installing new equipment will be the best option. It could be that Sirius now want to move site A closer to the dock but that means redirecting the conveyor tunnel. It would also mean a shorter conveyor and would save the expense of a conveyor bridge across a major road. It could also be that Sirius want to use some of the vacant steelworks land for product storage because the current site A is rather constrained. Whatever I don't see any earth shattering news forthcoming and my guess is that the article is built around the local mayor blowing his own trumpet as he is wont to do

Why on earth would Glencore or any mining major player be interested in a business processing waste? We would be sold off as non core business if owned by such. All we can hope for is that when the plant is running there will be enough profit to encourage a few pence rise in sp, I expect a dividend to be a long term prospect. My investment here is only small and was made in the hope that I could contribute in a small way to the life of the local resident of Kabwe for which I have sentimental attachment.

How predictable, I just hope it stays over-reacted until my dividends are reinvested but equally predictable is that that won't happen
