The amount of traded shares are in excess of 2,400, 000 since the middle of last week and no sells all buys!!!!!! MMs doing something !!!!!!

I am not a expert in international oil markets , as such I am only concentrated in the FI story, however the world is ever changing and when ever ones see a clear path an other obstacle appears ,but having said that I do think that purely because FI is outside the remit of global polictics apart from the mad woman from Argentina they are relatively outside worldwide turmoil. Having said that I do think the Saudis are in a very bad place , I think they have called this oil price stance all wrong, time will tell, Russia and China are getting a liittle too friendly !!!!

Whole swathes of the North Sea are now up for sale, due to the price of oil and the huge cost of decommissions of the old wells and of course the high tax. People are going to finally realise what we have in the Falklands is a new frontier of low cost low tax high quality oil and vast quantities of Liquid gas. We are less than six months away from all this happening. What is going to happen to the share price, you tell me!

You are a very strange man, frankly quite misinformed , but your heart in the right place. Every share takes an element of risk, but I have been involved with this particular company for a very long time, and seen many highs and lows, but in all honesty I have never been so excited, as this is the place, Argos hoped and prayed to be in twenty years ago. There wealth of experience and down right good business practice has been them in a most enviable position all the other companies would love to be in if they had the chance. I like the odds and glad KING999 keeps buying more, as I said he is rather strange but a fellow shareholder, and his comments must be aired , even if they are quite strange. Good riddance, now we can see a clear path and the threat of going back to 1970s has been removed. More importantly a government totally behind the Falkland Islands whereas the opposition had representatives sympathetic to the Argentina agenda.we have now a strong leadership who make sure this whole area of one of the last outposts in the world, will be safe.

As we all know the Falkland Islands tax regime is one of the lowest in the world hence why it is still attractive to drill and start production when other producers like North Sea have a huge tax regime. Are you enjoying bringing up rather inane arguments, I am not ramping this stock, I only got involved when the whole Deal with Noble was and still is misunderstood. But I think the penny is starting to drop, and then I shall retire from posting knowing I have helped a heavily abused BOD who have valiantly provided a chance of untold wealth, something they have not as yet received credit. I hope that in time we can all enjoy the fruits of many years of hope and anguish , something that the shareholders in Borders and Southern are experiencing, you do not realise how lucky we are.

Totally agree MikeMike, another Adminstration might take a threatening stance and see the merit in so much cheap energy on there doorstep, see share price clicking up nicely.

I fully appreciate your concern re Argies, and of course the problem will be always there. But if history is correct the previous Argies Govt had a agreement to share in any further development , but withdrew from the agreement due to a change of Government Leaders. There is always a risk, but having such a large shareholding I would be talking this up not down.

I suggest King999 looks at the Investor board, probably feel more at home there.

I must admit I am rather amazed at this stupid post, The poster in the past had put forward valid input , but this is the type of posting which really makes me angry. Argentina is no longer a threat, the fact the Americans have gone in now nullifies any rights to the Islands assets , do you not think they made this huge investment after taking careful, advice from the White House. All of the rest of the claptrap the guy is spouting is not with arguing about. I suggest you sell your shares this morning, and buy Rolls Royce , although that is not risk averse, maybe gilts. I suggest you carefully read the AGM presentation out yesterday, it might persuade you to be a little more optimistic !!!

None to my knowledge , certainly not any Falkland companies and very few elsewhere, this is why this is in the words of Noble top woman , this is Humungus, and we now know they were talking about the Argos acreage not the Folg acreage they had already acquired . They have in the words of the Chairman done their own thorough checks on the prospects more importantly Rhea and saw something they just had to acquire. They have a reputation of not making many mistakes and only invest in something which is nearly a dead cert. We only have to wait five months , not like RKH who have already have waited five years, and still no decision , whereas Noble are committed to getting it out the ground ASAP.

I have not been able to see or download the RNS re AGM , thank you Falklandinvestor for your input, is there anyway you can precise its content further. Everything quiet until election I fear, then when the whereabouts of ER , Isobel or Chatham. I am sure FOGL will release news of the next drill and its exact location. Meanwhile lets hope we keep clicking up.

I have just come back from a very interesting lunch, were the talk of the Falkland story was genuinely given the thumbs up and more importantly the fact there is no money available in the city for any Oil deal makes this the most brilliant deal of the year. They are investors in Afren and Ophir and although not sustaining any loss because they bought early, they are now envious of Argos in gaining a 100 per cent Yank into the Falklands which put paid to,any Argentina legal crap and now acknowledge that with all the information at hand this might be the place to be in the forefront of a new frontier. 26 per cent tax which makes Falklands viable at about 38 dollars a barrell, easy picking when you compare North Sea. Truthfully I have so enjoyed chatting on this board , but my wife thinks I have become obsessed in replying etc that I should stop. But what the hell, I am enjoying telling what I honestly believe in and wish other investors the opportunity in getting in on a good thing.

I have reiterated the calculations many times and Falklandinvestor is correct with his maths . But going through it one more time, 200mbb is produced, say at 50000 per day @ 60 dollars makes a return for the investor of 20 cents. The time span of the production is over a 20 year period, however if Rhea is successful , they will be drilling Helios Kratos, and the many other 52 targets over the acreage, so in effect the amount produced is very much an unknown figure , but it is obviously going to be a higher amount. My personal belief is that Noble will realise the generosity and buy us all out at a share price of £2.50 a price not dissimilar to RKH at there height, so it is achieve able . Remember no dilution and the fact Noble will not wish to pay these massive fees for over twenty years, they will pay us off with a huge one off payment. When we are nearer drill time and Chatham are neighbour is spudded this share is going to rocket, and funnily enough I think the IIs are cottoning on to this .Note not one reduction in any of our Main players namely JP Morgan or Salida or other main shareholders , they must know something, and they are experts , as dear old eegbvi is an oilman and hopefully a large investor.

I think that the BOD would have gone through the numbers when negotiating the deal with Noble and in the event of a discovery of oil, all shareholders will get a very good return however the circumstances are in three years time. What people fail to grasp is that int he event of success this share will be worth much more than it is now , so in fact it is not only a good pension pot but a good bet that the Market Cap will be significantly more.

I think if Cenkos had done the Maths when the announcement of the deal with Noble had been made, it would have given investors a clear idea of what it all meant. In my earlier answer, I did not clarify one thing , that is , those figures were on the basis of producing 200million BB at 50000 barrels a day and over a twenty year period. Of course as Falklandinvestor mentioned that the potential licence is huge. Not only a huge pension but due to the fact the income stream will be enormous imagine the share in three years time, or for that matter in September.

On that amount , and those figures, approx, £7000 per annum. Not bad return when you can buy 5000 shares now for 6.50 p , costing £3250.

Small investors have sold around 1Billion shares ,urging a buyers strike. Falklands companies have suffered from this and also the refusal of Premier to give a clear indication whether they are going ahead with production of Sea Lion , forget all these drills by Fogl and RKH , increasing there potential oil finds, until the small question is answered by PMO the shares will remain at this level. However what most people have failed to realise Argos have got the assurance from Noble that they will not only continue to drill other prospects but will be able to start producing in 3 years. I know it is contingent on the Rhea drill but I know which horse I will want to back.

I agree that seems to be the case, and I think the BOP factor on Isobel has retrenched the market for all companies involved, it's slightly doused the fire after Zebeedee, but once everything is back on track and also the general market apprehension over who might be leading this country a week time, once that is over then we can all breath again and set about are business as we were doing successfully until about six months ago , when a general malaise in the city and the property market took hold. It has not helped the Falkland oilies that's for sure. Come the spud on Chatham interest will return and this share price will recover
