All assumptions , you are so misinformed, I am not going to argue the toss on your perceptions of the oil industry , just that sometimes it is not helpful to spout forth on a company you have a small investment and very little of how the BOD have constructed this deal. It will all come out in the wash in the Autumn . But please do not presume you know everything about the drilling programme in the Falklands , we all have faith in the fact they are working to a common purpose of producing oil by 2018.

I would love to know where you get all this misinformed info, Argos will not have to come up with anymore money and have an agreed project with Noble who agreed with Fogl not to drill the second well in the SFB as they preferred Argos ,s prime project Rhea. Noble and Edison are fully funding all drilling and future production , so please please do not post about Argos has to pay towards further drills or put their hand in their pocket it is simply not correct. You seem to be on all the boards spouting forth about nearly every company . I know you are an Oil man but make sure you get your facts straight. We are all keen for success for everyone so the Falklands provide a secondary North Sea sooner rather than later.

PMO released news that they might abandon drilling Jayne East to go back to Isobel and presumably drill a appraisal well . What is interesting is they are definitely drilling Chatham which is right on the boundary of the Argos license and has been acknowledged by Rockhopper as a attached field to Argos field Tcyhe , which lies to the south of Rhea. Argos have business in Spain because of their Falklands deep sea fishing business and has had a large market there for years. Rhea will in my opinion be drilled in Mid October and have a result early November. All eyes on Humpback , good luck Falkland Oil and gas.

Thanks King999 for your comments, and appreciate that it is a discussion forum and everyone must contribute as they see fit. However the world is a strange place and the oil price fluctuates on world uncertainty , but the general feeling is a price of between 60 to 70 over the next six months with price around 80 this time next year. Remember the Tax regime is incredibly low compared to the North Sea and will not be payable until production starts. Rhea is probably the most important component in the whole NFB as Noble have the muscle to proceed with production whereas PMO and RKh and FOLg have to bring a partner, be it Noble or another major those companies value will be heavily diluted once that agreement is made.However their value should be considerably higher once production is announced which will of course offset some dilution. Argos of course does not have any of those problems , just a successful drill, after that the value of this share will be higher and with a guareented dividend for the next twenty years or a huge one off payoff to all shareholders if the wish to get rid of the Royalty payment. Huge rewards either way. Investors would wish one off payment, long term players like me would probably like the yearly pension payment. As we near the drill programme this share is going to be the one to watch and of course the news of Rhea, lets hope for the best and remain positive.

It is unfortunate that when you try and hand someone a compliment they manage to be fairly dismissive and again inaccurate , Shell did not pursue the drilling programme because the of the simple reason that the oil price had gone down to 10 dollars, not because they declined the area for any other reason.Any share purchase is a gamble, obviously King999 only backs winners but in this instance he strangely holds some hope , bully for him.

At last a protracted heads up from King999, although there is of course risk that Rhea is not successful all investors should be aware of the four oil shows and a Johnson field gas find twenty years ago on the same licence while fairly archaic seismic and drilling programme that they later acknowledged was drilled at an incorrect depth . Noble have at their disposal the latest 3d state of the ark seismic and the very latest drilling platform, and in my opinion as I have always thought Noble and Edison having been given this Liecense for free are not going to stop at one drill when they have two more outstanding prospects Helois and Kratos on their doorstep. If Rhea is a success then I think it probable they will indeed approach PMO to cooperate in a production programme. With or without PMO they will proceed with a production looking at a three to four years until first oil. Production is the sole reason why Rockhopper and Foklg are at so low values even with a two out of two strick rate. September and October will incredibly exciting times and the price of Argos will not be 9 pence in three months time. It is good to hear King 999 acknowledging the fact he thinks its a good bet , but of course we all share his sorrow at the drop in share price since the April, but remember its not so much the share price it is all about the 5./. Royalty over the 15 to 20 years starting in 2018 /2019, that will be the envy of any holder of oil shares in the Falkland Islands. No dilution no raising money for further drills ,no production costs, just sitting on a share which produces huge revenues something which the City will take note and value the shares accordingly.

Thank you winger1 , it is not that I am trying to be critical but someone who professes to be floating oil company's in Hamburg I am surprised he has the time to worry about his investment in Argos , and giving us chapter and verse as to what 5 per cent royalty really means . He will be back with some more input no doubt but this time I think we have won the argument .

Yes I am back , purely to add to Greaterreturn response to the above totally incorrect information he keeps making on this company's 5per cent royalty agreement with Noble. The agreement clearly states that the 5per cent is gross of any costs , tax or any other so called costs eegbvi can call upon and this will I think that this particular disagreement will be settled by some form of comfort by Cenkos or established outfit with whom is well respected in this particular field . Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion but when it is incorrect and can influence the value of this share then it is appropriate to make sure there is a proper information for everyone to see , maybe in hindsight this should have been done in the RNS with an breif example of the potential dividend one would expect with a certain amount of shares. As stated many times and I have been accused of ramping , is the fact that most people now realise, Rockhopper and Fokg will remain at low prices purely due to fact that PMO has not mentioned definite production. Noble will drill Rhea and immediately plan a production programme whilst drilling further wells on the Argos acreage. Of course Rhea must prove to be success or partially successful for Noble to undertake any further drills, but I firmly believe with the price of oil going upwards, Noble will not give up a licence they have for nothing, after just one drill, especially with the amazing two out two result with Zebedee and Isobel. PMO know they have to do something soon or Noble and the gas experts Edison will be in the position to be the first getting the oil out of the Falklands and I think that fact will spur them into action.

This board is not supposed to be used for all this rather unpleasant chatter, I should have known we would gravitate to this level. And to be honest I have better things to do, so for now goodbye and good luck to the very many good guys who have thanked various people for their input. I started a day after the announcement of the deal, the market , completely misunderstood the whole concept and this needed to be corrected. The share since has doubled, but I do take exception by various so called experts on this board that we are planted by the BOD. The BOD have taken very personal remarks over the years and for the first time they achieve a brilliant deal I think someone should say thank you , not think that in this day of creed just drivel on about how hard done by they are . In laymans terms a 38 per cent in chances of discovery is very good in the oil industry, whilst I agree there is a risk but 6 in 10 chances of success is completely alien to the ways potential drills are calculated. Having said that, the reason I have posted today is not to ramp this share but point out its huge potential as compared to all the other Fk companies who will suffer constant dilution due to there need to raise further funds for drilling and in the long term production costs , something I try and scream from the rooftops Argos has not got to do any of those things which makes it so appetising . In three months time this share is not going to be in the teens, mark my words.

I did not post anything about a new rig. Sorry not me , but in answer to an earlier question COS is 38 per cent , drilling end of Sept to Oct , and the royalty will be paid in probably 3 to 4 years time once production starts, but if Rhea is a success they will drill all the other wells ahead of production , so imagine the value of share present time leave alone the icing on the cake of 5./ royalty paid in dividend s for a life span of twenty years.

What a result , another huge discovery at Isobel, after fearing a disaster due to the BOP faulty equipment problem ,it looked that maybe they would not be successful. This makes Rhea even more likely to be successful and the whole Falkland North basin now has oil that warrants production, maybe PMO will come out the shadows and announce something which will lift all the share prices apart from Borders and Southern , through the roof.unless of course Humpdick comes in. The City and MM s will have a battle on there hands to try and stem the upward movement of these shares and makes Argos an absolute steel, no dilution and an enviable royalty payment once production starts , but hay ho what will the share price be after Rhea. Falklandinvestor thinks £2 , well he his going to be spot on, and Pre drill 50p spot on ,if not more.Great News everyone.

I said I am not posting for a while , and before long your behaving like schoolboys. Falklandinvestor and I contributed in trying to explain the amazing deal Argos BOD did with Noble, when the price was 5.75p , and price is now over 12 p . Sorry I do not get the aggro . This share is going to be the success story' of the Falklands , just listen to the boards on RKH and Folg with their woes and think how lucky we have a BOD who have waited for the right partner. You are all going to very rich if you hold on to your shares and remain pleasant whilst posting your remarks.

Eegbvi, everyone who buys shares takes a calculated risk and oil exploration is by its own nature risky, but I think we have all bought these shares , with same purpose as one buys Rolls Royce , but again by there very nature Argos has huge potential to make huge returns, that is what I have been saying all along, it is risky but I have invested in this company since its infancy and believe in the extremely capable BOD delivering the goods. I only came on to this board to point out that investors private as well as Instiutions had failed to crasp to deal Argos had agreed with Noble. I think my task has been achieved in a small degree by the weeks upward movement of the share price.So on that note I have served a purpose , and will not be posting for sometime, as although I strongly believe that we are on the threshold of triumph , I think it probably best to shut up for now. It is marvellous you guys have gone into profit, but you must realise this share can provide a very considerable income stream which will be the envy of all the Falkand oilies, as crucially there is no further dilution, and for that reason the share price will be much higher to the run up of the drilling of Rhea, and god knows how high if they strike oil.At 38./. Cos which inthe industry is high we have a very good chance.Noble would not be investing in this if they were not pretty sure, especially as the are litte or no new drilling happening around the world. Hold tight and you will be rewarded, we are in for quite a ride in the next few months all good in my opinion.

At last the share has started to move.The penny has finally dropped.
