Garbage??Show me where in the article there is garbage.The chemistry stuff is a sideshow to their main focus of a commercial product on the shelf.I posted the article to highlight that issue-ignore if you want.

As for you Warrie, I’m no Walter Mitty-I just focus on facts and market stats and it’s stood me in good stead throughout my career.There is no margin in battery cells-I told all the AMTE posters, who were largely in total denial and ignored, until it was too late.Result was a total car crash for shareholders.Administration as I predicted.

Now I do recall that DGI were planning their own giga facility based on crustacean chemistry-crazy but it was in an earlier investor presentation.Hence my posting of the Telegraph article.

DGI at least has another more lucrative string to its bow and they should apply all energy and cash to it

I have built and sold several businesses in the same sector-I’m semi retired and don’t need to work.I invest in companies that have a chance-some make it, some don’t.

But as a CA with a lot of experience in raising money, I take particular interest in balance sheets and cashflow.

I repeat-the reason I won’t invest in the market is because the company has already said it will be raising money in Dec.I assume that means another Placing but unless they tidy up the CLN, it will be another small one.I see most Placings from the likes of Cavendish and Zeus so I’m not worried about missing the bus.

The Indian adventure will change the outlook-earlier revenue , a product on the shelves

If any of this is not based on fact, do let me know.

If I was bearish, I would be ripping into the MB fiasco which has really set the guys back

No duster-I’ve been very clear throughout.I will invest when they sort out their cash problem, the CLN and the Indian JV(I see this as the low hanging fruit in their commercial journey)

I have no intention of talking the SP down-the current capital structure is doing that which is why the SP hasn’t swung upwards.

I’m no troll-to repeat, I like the company but it needs to sort out its underlying capital structure and funding.

Not at all-I’ve got plenty to do but in any scenario I don’t just follow the script.

You make a valid point-the move from development to commercialisation and production is challenging but Cummins are a very substantial partner to have.Probably two years is a reasonable timescale.

As for all the other posts over the weekend, all I would say is that I have called it right over the last few months whether you like it or not-though I do agree making the same repetitive points is counter productive.But that works both ways

In the long term, all being well, this company has a great future-and a substantial value

In the short term, there are severe headwinds-

-cash call highly likely in the next month.I reckon a small raise as VCTs cannot participate.This will be dilutory of course-more paper and likely discounted.The AIM point on min market cap still applies and would take several months even on fast track.

-the CLN overhang.Its unsecured but will create a lot of paper if converted.Big uncertainty.It would be helpful to put this in a standstill arrangement

Things would alter materially if the MOU is contracted but a small raise in Dec still likely then move to Aim next year.

It goes without saying that the next month is pretty pivotal

Try and put the pieces together

-co tells investors it’s wanting to join AIM.In fact the CLN has a timetable on it which refers to it.

-co cannot join AIM under fast track route without min £20m market cap-see previous posts on this

-co market cap was c£10m in summer, leaving it short of the £20m

-co cannot raise money from VCTs on Standard List-Long said there was a queue waiting to invest, confirming said move to AIM

-co could only bridge the gap to £20m by raising equity cash

Put the whole lot together and I’m of the view they were raising money, market conditions terrible(not their fault) then opted for a small raise which would allow some decent newsflow(now started)

That’s the analysis but as Long claims to be in the know as a CLN holder, he can put his points forward

I believe they tried to raise the £6m and failed mate-hence the small raise

I agree Violet-it’s positive they have some chemistry but when and where is the commercial outcome?I think it’s a distraction to the main event given cash constraints and there is no margin in manufacturing cells
