Their are various posters here who castigate Fox/ECOB and their Directors both past and present. But they took risks when they bought their shares. Risky investments can bring high rewards but also high losses. Shares on AIM can fall as well as plumet.
Risk 1. The AIM is considered a junior market and is less regulated than others.
Risk 2. Both Kosovo and Albania are considered to be less stable countries that have a higher level of risk than Western European countries.
Risk 3. Both Fox and ECOB are start-ups and profitless and have been so for many years. Inevitably luck will play a part if they achieve success.
I'm not trying to start a war here but we are all responsible for our own actions and have to live with the consequences of them.
These shareholders, presumably, volunteered to buy the shares. It was their own decision. There should be no surprises at various delays, cash calls and set-backs. The responsibility for their situation is largely of their own making.
Very small article in todays Times, apparently Weir pumps are experiencing an increase in spare parts. Perhaps more grist to the mill?
Nobby,
I don't think your quite right. ECOB produce walls and ships them to a customer and, as I understand it, the customer does the actual building. I can't recall any talk of ECOB doing any building? I could be wrong of course.
JoeJoe,
I'm uncertain If your post today refers to my post of the 18th. If so look at the share price history for that date and all will be revealed!
The only thing I can think of is the $180 Mill contract that was signed last May is now not progressing or at least in serious doubt. We've changed our year end to accommodate this so perhaps it a make or break deal that looks like breaking?
Hi unvrkw,
I too am sitting on a large loss which is exactly why I'm averaging down. Todays rise shows that there is at least a little interest!
As for Fox it is presumably still going - bonus if it is I think. There possibly could be a bit of arbitration cash as well as another bonus. What with earthquakes, wars and floods ECOB could just be in the right place at the right time. Worth a punt I reckon.
I got here through Fox and have very little knowledge of the modular building market. But what little I've seen I think ECOB is one of the simpler systems to operate. I am heartened by the Chile certification which we seemed to pass with flying colours. This can only give confidence to prospective customers.
Might just raid the piggy bank for a small top-up.
Yes bluerill, I also see todays RSN as a start. At least the guy has a definite incentive! The presence of Sir Mark Lyall, is for me, the singing canary and I don't see any real major problems. The recent fund raise from existing shareholders was also welcome. Not quite like Thames Water!!
Hi Ant,
Shame you didn't get a reply. Perhaps if your wife applied in her own name and used the company website careers section you might get some joy? It seems a shame to waste the opportunity.
We've done a fair bit of testing with airbus, 13 years, and about 8 years with Leonardo's. I'm not to sure about other aircraft companies - Not more years and years of testing - surly not!
Interesting RNS. There was something mentioned a year or two ago re other coating companies. This is a cracking deal - not only are we making sales to competing companies but the first order has been supplied and we've got the whole of the 2nd half to add to revenue which is sorely needed.
Surely, at long last, we have an upward revenue situation. What could possibly go wrong???
Only caught up to the presentation today. Very impressed by the way Peter Sargent is working ON the business. There seems to be a real improvement in the structure and oversight. Bodes very well for the future - particularly the two newer parts that are yet to produce revenue. Good times ahead I think!
Thanks Bull. However at the September AGM Simon said they were dealing with 160 Mill of contracts. Todays update stated projects worth an aggregate of 220 Mill! Any body know what I missed?
I don't think ST has over cooked anything - after all the Letter of Intent was signed a year ago so I think it was justifiable to assume the first milestone would have been in by now and for all we know it might have been? Please!!
I'm unsure, I was under the impression that it was charged for each time and that for some reason 'Reach' was cheaper but had a smaller distribution?
We're actually engaged in arbitration which is a different process. As I understand it both sides have agreed to abide by the Court of Arbitration findings. There was a mention on this board that the summer is a likely time to go to court but I have no clue if this is so.
Any body any info?
John, as I've mentioned before the Admission Document has been largely adhered to. Nobody challenged that statement.
I'm not aware of any actual promises. We did go back a bit on the factory completion. But that kind of forecast is not a promise but an estimation. Not to sure what you mean.
PS. Good job many of your previous comments where anonymous - you could have landed in Court! Go to the AGM and repeat them if you don't believe me.
Hi Kinghomer, compared to some aim companies I think PYC is pretty good. They obviously highlight the beginning of contracts but apart from that it's a pretty humdrum company in that our work is with outside companies and so it's difficult to provide updates on progress - even if allowed.
They highlight shows and conferences but I don't think there's that much else to RNS about. Bit frustrating but they do what they can I reckon.
Again! We're where we were well over a year ago and without £160 Mill of contracts! Some 7 weeks to go to the year end. As the song says 'I'm hoping and praying'.
I do appreciate that at some point we should hit milestone payments but if the £140 Mill contact doesn't start in this financial year then not only will the markets possibly react badly but we may need another cash call!
Only 7 weeks to go folks!!
Surely if there If there is no inaugural dividend (and a token halfpence one would not reduce the cash that much) then we deserve an announcement about what the cash is intended for?
