Hi Soleboy,
I too want to attend but living in Cornwall I need to make travel arrangements. Can you confirm the date. The reason I didn't attend last year was because I got the date to late to make arrangements.
Yes, milestone payments are lumpy and can distort annual figures but we now have some 4ish contracts with fixed dates and one ongoing. This means that with a bit of luck they will even out a little.
In addition the transponder business, much steadier, is growing at a significant rate and with the new distributers and new products will be more important addition to the annual revenue. In addition to that the ongoing data sales, which come into play at the end of the contract, will also have a steading income effect.
Hi Monty88, I hope you're right but w here will the plus £80K come from?
Hi SoleBoy and extrader, I think any takeover would have to be hostile and that would push the SP to extreme hights! However i would prefer to see how high the SP can go anyway!!
I first bought in March '17 and I don't think the company has put a foot wrong since. I did say previously I thought the revenue this year could hit £80K. Simon said in passing £70K - unlike him to be so pessimistic! It will of course depend on milestone payments on the big contract.
I've said before that Simon's webcasts often give a post broadcast SP boost - but now we seem to be getting a pre boost! There is a possibility that the market is waking up to the enormity of the last few RNSs - about time too!!!
I reckon SRT is set up to deliver as the bulk of the contractual work is done by local firms. They will of course need more support from the UK but to help this I understand the servers are now pre-built here and shipped out complete which helps to make it quicker at their end.
Looking forward to tomorrow - should be really interesting.
Nobody knows
I guess with the new distributer agreement plus the major huge contract and the 24 Mill contract it's been pretty hectic. I hope Simon does do a webcast as he not only manages to flesh out the bones of the RNS's but often gives the SP a little boost to boot.
Could well be right Hardboy. Our revenue this year could be in the region of 80 Mill plus. We should get say 2/3 of the 24 Mill contract announced on the 3rd. say 16 Mill. Then there's the trebling of the dealer network plus Nexus. So from 12 Mill to say 20 Mill. As the new £146 Mill contract is now signed We could get a couple of milestone payments - say 40-45 Mill. Then there's ongoing stuff anyway plus the payment that went back from last year.
I did previously say we could get a divi this year but on reflextion perhaps not as there will be a lot of cash tied up in extra stock and perhaps hold ups in production due to chip shortages. However next financial year will be completely different , maybe the next interims?
I've been trying to work out if we will get a milestone payment before September end. I think that because of the size of the contract my guess is no but in any case it will be a boost to our finances when it hits our account!
Can't help feeling that this is the year we 've been waiting for - enough profits to declare a divi and get the II's on board. The SP will be transformational.
The furnaces used to take a year to make and cost around a million. My guess is that the price is up but the lead time is the same. I said a couple of years ago that news of a new order would be a milestone.
If airbus orders are climbing to a meaningful level (rather than the 4% as in the last update) then for me that will be an important moment.
If you ask Dentons, the solicitors acting for us, they will say when. They would not have taken on the case on a no win no fee basis. We attracted certain investors who provided the seed money to allow Dentons to assess the case. They would also say when. To me the biggest unknow is how much!
Gosh Richie - It just gets better and better.
Hi Riche, The real money lies in the maintenance and overhaul market. There are some 10,000 A320s in service. It might not be worth retrofitting the older ones but certainly the newer ones.
Hi Goliath, I'm curious - what will drive this 100%?
I've just polished my rose colored specs and re read a couple of recent RNS's.
23/03/23 Announcement of £145 Mill contract over 2 years. Even if delayed until the Autumn we should still get 6 months this year, say £40 Mill. The software is the expensive bit.
03/04/23 3000 new distributers so trebling the distributor network. With the imminent launch of Nexus (possibly the reason why we got the deal) the challenge will be to keep up with orders !! Come on flex you can do it!
03/05/23 Existing customer new 1 year contract. £24 mill from summer. Even if it goes back to the autumn we should get the bulk say 13 -14 Mill this year.
Now; our MC is at £80 mill. Will our revenue hit that this current year - possibly. Will the revenue beat that next year - you betcha!! I'm filling my boots.
Hi johnpwh, good to see you still here - you always were a little pessimistic but at least you stayed the course and so deserve the rewards. All still a bit up in the air but at least we're still trading. I would like to see some sort of update since we've heard nothing for over a year. All the best.
Interesting timing here. We start in June so will have 3 good months to boost our September year end. In addition the September '24 year ban on HCP can only boost both year end '24 but all future years.
Hi saintly, I've been hear since '06 and yes the delays have been horrendous, some 13 years for airbus and around 9 for Leonardo and if my memory serves HCP was originally announced to be banned In '17. I think at last we have a game changer on our hands. Nice to know I made the right call! Only 20 years to make a profit!
Hi Earlof, not to sure of similarities. Dentons, the solicitors acting, agreed to a no win no fee agreement. But this was after a few investors put up enough cash for Dentons to do an evaluation. So after those investors are repaid (with a handsome justifiable profit I guess) and Dentons submit their costs and profits there a few chunks less for us. But whatever is left for us will be for nothing anyway!
If we do alright I may well chuck a few quid into Eco Building as I reckon it's a system that has come along at the right time.
You can actually tie the roof down through the walls to the foundations which might stop some of the wooden houses in the USA from blowing away!
Ria20. 11 green boxes already this morning - total rubbish.
