Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
JL sorry to burst your bubble, but you're not the only one who posts non-positive (let me avoid say negative as obviously offends you) comments. Check out J123 or BSMA, both also make non-positive comments, but I'll give them credit is based on fact of what SAV/DA have or often haven't done. Similar CM has been very constructive recently on the good/bad elements of SAV.
All this said, this board has seriously changed from when I first joined over 3 years ago. So going to take a break from it now/probably for good.
Wish all those here (both Pro/con posters) my best wishes and hope that dreams come true.
I've been saying that I see a MCap £225 -275 post EIA/DFS, so top of this range would be about 16p. Though subject to any further equity issue.
That said, if equity issue was for very specific reasons (and a Right Issue all LTH could participate in) then it could be MCap enhancing and SP neutral. Similar to a Rights Issue that raises funds a Takeover, Expansion, etc. To date all raises have been non-Right Issue (so no LTH benefit) and also for working capital. Hope going forward this changes.
JL I am confused, you've been here since Nov 20 and I think we can agree most posts have been 'Negative' towards SAV and it's prospects. These are your own opinions and there's nothing wrong with that.
However assuming that you was a SAV Holder prior to Nov 20 you have had a chance to sell at over 100% increase in the SP. (prior to placing) and the SP is still about 55% up from when you first posted. Why not get out why you can, if you're so right on all the items you raise then surely you want out now. Otherwise the SP could be worthless come end of 2021.
As a SAV holder, you've not mentioned Moz once from what I can tell. This is still part of the SP and is something being reviewed to release SP value.
LOL.
.....if it's a news site JL agrees with then it's correct and accurate reporting, if not then it's fake news.
Wow....you really think that. In that case, if it is a SAV press release, then all credit to them for including;
"Several people from Boticas gathered in protest to demonstrate their position against the mine. These began to take shape at the beginning of the afternoon and were very audible while the clarification session took place, clearly translating the position of the municipality's population who firmly say "No to Mina"."
https://diarioatual.com/mina-do-barroso-debatida-em-sessao-de-esclarecimento-em-boticas/
This report on the clarification session must have obviously been a totally different session, or will you say that this is an article paid by SAV to give a positive spin on what happened?
If you're so right on the EIA not being approved due to what APA saw at the recent meeting and the view of the Mayors, then why will any further financing be required?
The DFS will be paid by GALP funding.
Any additional equity issue will be towards the Cap EX, but this will be in addition to long term loans, grants, off take, etc.
Even the recent share issue did cover Long Lead time items required for build, hopefully a few Tesla Cybertruck and Semi's or Rivian Trucks to continue the Green Credentials.
Last one was from 2010.....I appreciate that Environmental concerns and rare species have to be taken into account, but times have moved on since 2010 and items like this are looked at in balance with the wider need to address climate change.
So as long as mitigation steps can be taken, what was an issue in 2010 will be looked at differently in 2021.
Has anyone seen JL381 and the mayor together at the same time??? LOL.
JL381, did you not quote in Nov 2020 that;
"The Portuguese government lithium mining strategy is suspended until a Strategic Environmental Assessment is done. Ani mining project with a DIA, like MDB is also suspended. "
Wasn't this incorrect?
From when you first posted, these incorrect statements the SP actually rose over 100% until the recent share issue. The SP is still about 55% up since you first posted. Based on this, please continue to post away.
LOL
Would like to see all feedback positive and negative published ASAP. Will then be able to see if there's anything that could push the indicated August approval date out.
Between now and 2nd June might be nice to see 2020 Year End and news on Moz.
I thought I recognised the Article, looking back the following was posted by a 'Jonners123' on 20 Oct 2020.

Not that I believe everything in the Daily Mail.....
***
The Daily Mail Article talks about the same Trevor :-)
Article from Feb 2020. All credit to Trevor in Cornwall and I wish him well on his endeavours. But this isn't going to be technology that will be in the main battery option in EV's whilst MdB is in operation.
You have to scroll to page 9 but details shows SAV will be in the Index following May changes.
https://app2.msci.com/eqb/gimi/stdindex/MSCI_May21_MicroPublicList.pdf
Hopefully lead to some buying from any Index Tracking, performance, etc funds.
Nav.
I agree the impact engaged with is small and unknown, but as ATD point out how many companies are actually available to do this. Even if there are, what costs would be associated with having a Big Player to do the same .
Just as the EIA/APA and public consultation has been saying, local small firms will look to be used as much as possible. I know (or expect) this isn't a local firm, but it does show that SAV will engage with small firms.
You say you have concerns? What that the EIA will not be provided? The need for more funds? MdB will never get into production?
I know and understand there's very mixed views on DA and what money is spent on, it's right that there is different opinions.
However, should the EIA not be given, it won't be for lack of effort. The steps DA/SAV are taking to keep everyone happy and make sure every last possible box is ticked is applaudable.
Should the EIA be given, then I think it set a new benchmark for future submissions, one that SAV will be in a prime position (with the established contacts) to take great advantage of.
Mentions Tesla having concerns on Li shortage and wanting mines multiple times, including how the giga factory Berlin will face Li shortage.

States Li stocks should be rocketing.
I thought J123 Actually sold in Jan at about 4.90, so yes up on current price but not at highest price. Made no comment about dilution at the time. Going back to Dec 2019, actually wanted to buy and was waiting on further dilution to happen.
Maybe now's a time to get back in :-)
From politico.eu on the LusoRecursos decision and reference to SAV now in consultation phase:
******
The Portuguese government may have given up on the Montealegre project, but another lithium mining scheme in the region is moving forward, according to the Portuguese environment minister.
Matos Fernandes confirmed that a bid by U.K.-based commodities group Savannah Resources to develop the 680-hectare Barroso mine project near the village of Boticas is now undergoing a public consultation of its environmental impact study.
"Without being able to predict the results" of the study, Matos Fernandes said he applauded the professionalism of the proposal. "There’s a huge difference between this developer and the lax attitude shown by others."

Many have moaned about the money being spent by SAV (DA) and that it's just a vanity project (Cash cow for DA), but as quoted above there is a Huge difference in what SAV produced for APA/EIA and LusoRecursos. This seems to have been money very well spent.
